We are a family of four in Surry Hills, right near buzzing Crown Street and the lightrail stop. I’m on maternity leave and my partner currently works/studies long hours. Our two lovely kids are a 2.5 year old toddler and our new baby, almost 3 months old!

Your role: to help me with the home and kids while Alex is at work - a regular 2 weekdays, approximately 5.30/6pm to 9/9.30pm. Flexibility is valued as this could turn into the odd extra ad hoc day, or extra hours on the weekend from time to time. Duties would be variable, mainly involving helping with our evening routine (play, dinner, bath, bedtime), perhaps keeping the toddler occupied while I settle the baby. When our toddler goes to bed, I would go with him while you take the baby (ideally you would be comfortable wearing her in a baby carrier).

A light tidy up and reset at the end of the evening is part of the role: putting away toys, wipe down of surfaces, occasionally putting the kids clothes away, loading the dishwasher.

It’s important that you don’t mind dogs as we have a large, friendly (non shedding) groodle who is inside and part of the family! If the kids are sorted, you could take him outside for a quick walk before you go.

We have three children 9, 7 and 4, two girls and a boy.

I'm looking for an experienced babysitter to do a full Thursday and half of Friday with our 4 year old. School pick up and some meal prep required. This is from the 9th of June until the end of July.

Ideally the person will love kids, take initiative and is used to a busy family environment. We also have a 12-year-old dog named Sadie (Kelpie Poodle), so would need to be ok with dogs.

Pets: No
CCTV: Yes
Parking: No. Bike parking across the road though.
Public transport: Buses along Oxford Street. 2 - 3 minute walk or Museum train station 8 minute walk.

Serve prepared meals & wash up any used bowls or cutlery.

Both are toilet trained but do require assistance if they need it. Mainly the youngest help to reach washing her hands. Both cleaning properly if they do a poo. Both wear night time nappies.

Help them to pack away their toys at the end of the day before bed.

No house cleaning as such. However if any mess is made on your shift I ask it be cleaned or tidied up. The same goes for any used bowls or cutlery.

Bedtime routine including supervising their evening shower. They never had cry it out or sleep schedules. Shutting the door on them & lights out is not something I condone. They will tell you when they are ready for bed..Stay with them until they are completely asleep & leave the door open incase they wake & attend to them if they do wake.

Tooth brushing before bed & sunscreen if going outside.

Any toys used or activities done, please tidy up.

Looking for a special after school carer ideally 5 days a week between 3:45 - 5:45 PM at our home with our almost 6 year old. She is an easy kid but has special needs so strong preference for someone who has a background working with special needs kids, or has qualifications in OT, PT or ST or is working towards that. Ideally we want someone long term to support her doing her homework and support her ongoing development (drawing/writing, reading/doing puzzles etc) until we get home from work.

We are looking for a new lovely Wednesday Thursday nanny to help our busy household including 2 girls aged 8 and 11!
All that is required on Wednesday is pick up from school in the Eastern Suburbs, drive home to Balmain and entertain/complete homework until 5:30-6pm when us parents return home.
On Thursday, pick up is the same however our older daughter will be heading to sport training, so you will need to stay home just with our younger daughter until 5:30pm.
Also the possibility of extra hours in school holidays if wanted.
Own car and drivers licence is mandatory (P plates ok).
WWCC also mandatory.

I’m a single mother to a bright, energetic and sassy little girl and a cute fur baby (a gentle cuddly cavalier).

I am returning to full time work as a shift worker and looking for someone to care for my daughter from 3pm to possibly 9 or 10pm on Mondays and Wednesdays each fortnight (possibly more days).

It would involve school pick up, swim class, and home bath/bed routine. Some help with light house work, meal prep and dog walking would be highly desirable to help lighten the load.

My daughter is emotionally sensitive and needs a consistent and attuned carer to help establish trust and assist with this transition for her.

She also has asthma and requires puffer medication. Knowledge of asthma and asthma first aid is required (or willingness to obtain).

I am a medical doctor from Hungary, living in Sydney CBD, raising my two sons (10 and 8) on my own.

We’re a family based in Redfern looking for a warm, engaged nanny/babysitter to help care for our son. He’s currently 6 months old and will be around 12 months old when the regular role begins in August.
