We are a busy, professional family looking for a dedicated and experienced housekeeper/nanny to provide loving care for our 9-month-old baby and assist with household management. We value reliability, warmth, and efficiency and are looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into our daily routines.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and quick learner, proactive in keeping the household running smoothly, and willing to go above and beyond. Trustworthiness and strong chemistry with our daughter are of utmost importance.
Position Details:
• Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 AM – 5 PM
• Location: 115 Bathurst Street, Sydney CBD (easily accessible by public transport; no parking available)
• Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide loving, attentive care for our infant, including feeding, supervising naps, engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, and following established routines.
• Assist with household tasks, including tidying, laundry, dishwashing, wiping down surfaces, light vacuuming in high-traffic areas, refilling household essentials, taking out the trash, and feeding our small dog. (We have professional cleaners for deep cleaning.)
• Prepare meals for the baby and provide light meal support for the family when needed.
• Run occasional errands, grocery shopping, and assist with basic household organization.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in both childcare and housekeeping within private homes.
• Energetic and proactive, with the stamina to care for an active infant and manage household tasks.
• Experience in infant care, particularly with feeding schedules and sleep routines.
• Infant CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Current police check and Blue Card/WWCC.
• Comfortable commuting via public transport.
