Looking for someone energetic that wants to play games and interact with the girls
Hello, we’re a family of four, living in Double Bay. We’re originally from London and I have a 5 year old at school and a 6 month old. The role would be to come every weekday before school, helping with the school run and breakfast, followed by nannying with the baby, and assisting me with/preparing dinner. It would be roughly 7.30am-3pm Monday - Thursday, and later into the evening on Fridays. But timings are all negotiable for the right candidate. The role will also include managing and organising the girls rooms and toys, and light housekeeping.
We’re looking for someone who will genuinely become part of the family as neither of us have family in Sydney. We’re warm, generous and really involved with our girls.
The role will include holiday pay, however, there is an expectation that we work together to take holidays at the same time that we travel, where possible. We travel back to Europe at least twice a year for a few weeks at a time. If you were to travel with us, there would be firstly no requirement to do so, but if you chose to, there would be additional pay.
As a full time role, we’re looking to pay approximately $70,000 p.a plus superannuation, for the right candidate.
We’re a family of three based in Lane Cove with a 10-month-old baby, and we’re looking for a caring and experienced babysitter to help out occasionally on Friday or Saturday afternoons/evenings.

We’re after someone who: • Has experience with babies under the age of 1 • Holds a current Working with Children Check • Has up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification
This is a casual, ad hoc role—ideal for someone confident caring for babies and happy to support a local family from time to time for a night out or a few hours of downtime. You don’t need to be based in Lane Cove, just willing to travel.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Please reach out with a bit about your experience and availability.
*Please note our budget is $35/hr before 7pm and $30/hr after 7pm (baby goes to sleep at 7pm)

We are a family of four in Surry Hills, a great location right near buzzing Crown Street and the lightrail stop. There is Jacqui (myself) and husband Alex, energetic and delightful 2.5 year old Nico, and gorgeous sleepy little 3 week old girl Mila. I’m on maternity leave and Alex currently works long hours. We have some extended family around but are looking to build our village.
Your role: to help me with the home and kids while Alex is at work - a regular 2 weekdays, approximately 5.30/6pm to 9/9.30pm. Flexibility is valued as this could turn into the odd extra ad hoc day, or extra hours on the weekend from time to time. Duties would be variable, mainly involving helping with our evening routine (play, dinner, bath, bedtime), perhaps keeping the toddler occupied while I settle the baby or prepare dinner (or vice versa). A light tidy up and reset at the end of the evening is part of the role: putting away toys, wipe down of surfaces, occasionally putting the kids clothes away, loading the dishwasher.
It’s important that you don’t mind dogs as we have a large, friendly (non shedding) groodle who is inside and part of the family. An optional part of your duties might be taking him outside for a quick walk before you go.
If all of this suits, would be lovely to meet. Let me know if you have any questions.
I’m looking for a casual babysitter to help care for my 10-month-old daughter in Surry Hills. Care will be on an as-needed basis so I can attend errands and appointments, as family support isn’t always available and we’d like to build some additional support.
I’m ideally looking for a mature, calm, and reliable babysitter who is confident with infants and has recent, long-term experience caring for babies. Experience in a nannying/babysitting role and/or caring for your own children would be highly valued.
Requirements:
• Valid Working With Children Check (required)
• Current First Aid & CPR (required)
• National Police Check (preferred)
• Recent, long-term infant care experience (required)
• A nurturing, responsible, and safety-focused approach to care
Hours & Pay:
• Care will generally be booked for a min. of 3 hours per shift, can range from daytime and evenings weekdays or weekends
• The listed rate is a starting point — happy to pay a higher rate depending on experience and qualifications
I’d love to arrange a meet-and-greet prior to any care to ensure we’re a good fit.
If this sounds like a good match, I’d love to hear from you.
