I have two children (8 and 15 years old) who require after school care from 2.45-6pm Tuesday to Thursday on a weekly basis. My eldest has a disability and so needs extra support compared to children his age. There would be other hours available on a more ad hoc basis.

We are looking for someone with experience with children, even better if you have worked with kids with a disability previously, and your own transport. We are looking for someone who is available on an ongoing basis.

Caregiver duties would include picking them up from school, helping them to get snacks and get changed, playing games and reading books as well as doing some meal prep. It would also include taking them out to after school activities. Thank you!

Hi there,

Looking for an experienced helper to join my crew of two twin girls and a toddler boy. Were from Hurstville and love outdoors! We spend lots of hours outside gardening and blowing bubbles. 2-3 days a week 7am - 12pm to help me with feeding, light tidy and keep the kids entertained. On the rare occasion I may need assistance attending an appointment or shopping.

My daughter is 2.5 and is a really sweet and easy toddler, I have been with her full time but now I need to start looking for full time work and be prepared to put her in care, she has been doing it really tough at day care and I don’t feel like it’s the right place for her. So between a nanny and two grandmas across five days I am hoping to find someone she enjoys spending two days with. It really is just to play with her, make sure she’s fed and comfortable. Essential Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in nannying or formal childcare settings
• Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• Valid Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• Up-to-date immunisations (including whooping cough and influenza)
• At least two professional childcare-related references
• Current Australian driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle to get to work (no need to drive our son during the day)

Welcomed but not essential:
• Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, Diploma/Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or nursing/allied health background
• Flexibility or interest in additional hours on an ad hoc basis

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Planning and providing screen-free activities such as reading, musical play, sensory activities, arts and crafts, and walks or park outings in our local area
• Supporting mealtimes (we will provide pre-prepared meals) and naptimes, maintaining a calm and consistent daily routine
• Light child-related housework — keeping play areas tidy, child’s laundry, loading the dishwasher
• Communicating openly with us throughout the day

Schedule & Start Date:
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (33 hours per week)
• Starting ASAP but willing to wait for the right candidate
• We are happy to settle you into the role gradually, so you feel supported as you become familiar with our home, the local area and our son’s routine

We are a family of four with a busy schedule! Myself and my partner Greg both work full time hours and have two lovely kids. We are looking for someone to collect our 7 year old daughter from School twice a week and bring her home. I work freelance as a hair and makeup artist, so my schedule changes week to week depending on shoot dates. Shifts will vary in length—anywhere from 5 to 10 hours—and days will differ each week.
Frankie is in daycare on Thursdays and Fridays, but if I have an early call time on those days, the job will include getting her ready and doing the morning daycare drop-off.
