Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a hardworking and lively person with a strong family orientation, which has given me extensive experience caring for young family members and friends. Having moved away from home for university, I have proven myself to be self-sufficient and capable of independently managing household chores and cleaning. I have experience running children’s surf lifesaving programs and volunteering at camps for young people with disabilities through The Flying Fox organisation. Through these experiences, I have developed the skills necessary to diligently supervise and entertain multiple children at once, including children with a range of interests, personalities and needs. I also have experience babysitting twin girls who are currently 18 months old. Through caring for them, I have become well-versed in keeping them entertained while patiently navigating their emotions and any challenges that may arise. I have also had an ongoing role in their nightly routine, including preparing and assisting with dinner, bathing and reading bedtime stories in accordance with their family’s routines and preferences. More broadly, I have babysat children of a range of ages and am able to provide engaging and creative entertainment. I enjoy staying active and creative in my own day-to-day life, which allows me to bring enthusiasm, energy and a variety of activities to my time caring for children.

Hi lovely families my name is Lila and I have over 9 years of experience caring for children from 5 months up until 16 years. I hold certifications in First Aid and CPR, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check, and I am fully vaccinated. I also have a valid driver’s license and an insured vehicle, making me flexible and dependable. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and engaging spaces where children feel valued and inspired to grow. I’ve always had a deep love for caring for children. What I find most rewarding is nurturing their growth, supporting their curiosity, and being someone who helps them feel safe and seen. Working with children has also taught me so much about patience, creativity, and staying present. Outside of work, I love cooking (I learned a lot from my stepdad who is a chef), practicing yoga, singing and playing my guitar, reading about philosophy and psychology, and taking my two kelpie dogs for long walks! I am truly passionate about childcare and committed to providing exceptional, reliable support for families. I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, energy, and creativity to your household and help your children thrive. I’m available to start immediately ! Sincerely, Lila Rubbo-Ferraro

Hello, I'm a 27-year-old nanny from Bogotá, Colombia. I have a genuine love for children and extensive experience caring for babies and young kids. In Colombia, I worked as a nanny for a 6-month-old baby and truly cherished every moment spent with her. After moving to Melbourne, I continued working as a babysitter with several families: -2023: Cared for a 3-year-old girl for 2 months. -2023–2024: Looked after two boys, aged 2 and 5, for 11 months. My responsibilities included preparing their meals, feeding them, playing, taking them to the park, and bathing them. -January–February 2025: Cared for an 18-month-old baby boy in Melbourne. Duties included preparing and feeding meals, taking him for walks, playing with him, and putting him to sleep. -2026: Cared for an 18-month-old girl on a casual basis for 6 months, supporting her mother whenever needed. My responsibilities included playing with her, taking her to the park on my own, occasionally caring for her in the evenings, and putting her to sleep. -2026: Also continued working casually with the same two boys I cared for in 2023–2024, including school drop-offs in the mornings when needed. Over the past two years, I've worked with more than three families, and the parents are happy to provide references about my work. I'm available to start working almost immediately. I'm currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing and attend university twice a day, but I have 2 full days available each week for work. From mid-September onwards, my availability will increase significantly, and I'll have almost full-time hours available. I am a responsible, caring, and dedicated nanny who always strives to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for children. In addition to childcare, I can assist with meal preparation, homework help, and engaging in fun and educational activities, depending on the role and rate. I hold deep respect for parents and the trust they place in me to care for their children. I'm always happy to provide regular updates on their well-being and daily activities. My rate for babysitting/nannying is $35 per hour. If you're looking for a reliable, warm, and experienced nanny, please feel free to reach out. I'd love to support your family, and I'm confident your little ones will be in good hands with me.
