Hello! I’m Charlotte, 31, based in Melbourne. I have over 10 years of experience working as a nanny, caring for children from 3 months to 13 years, as well as two years’ experience in Out of School Hours Care at Coburg North and Brunswick East Primary Schools.
I genuinely love working as a nanny and feel incredibly grateful to be part of children’s lives during such important stages of their growth and development. I love working alongside families to support children’s wellbeing, create nurturing environments, and build trusting and respectful relationships with both children and parents. I understand that raising children comes with many beautiful moments as well as challenging transitions, and I value being someone parents can rely on for support, care, and consistency.
Over the past four years, I have worked as a full time nanny for a 4 year old non verbal child, providing attentive and highly individualised care to support his communication, learning, independence, and overall wellbeing. This experience has strengthened my ability to be patient, adaptable, and deeply attuned to each child’s unique needs. One of the things I love most about nannying is that no two days are the same, every child is different, and I enjoy continually adapting my approach, activities, and routines to suit their personality, interests, development, and needs.
I truly value all of the little moments that come with caring for children; from being the person who offers comfort through a difficult moment or helps them navigate big emotions, to celebrating their confidence as they master something new on the playground. I love the joy of dancing around the house, creating imaginative games, exploring their interests, and being part of the everyday moments that help children feel secure, understood, and confident in themselves.
I have extensive experience with infants, including newborn care, sleep routines, feeding, hygiene, developmental activities, and creating safe and engaging environments for early learning. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with multiple families for many years, developing meaningful bonds with the children and becoming a trusted part of their family’s support system. It is a privilege to be involved in helping children grow, discover the world around them, and become confident little individuals.
Previously, I worked in Paris as a nanny and English tutor, during which time I completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (CAP Accompagnant éducatif petite enfance AEPE).
Alongside my childcare experience, I have a creative arts background from Monash University, completing a Bachelor of Fine Art (2016) and Honours in Fine Art (2018). I love bringing creativity, imagination, and play into my work with children, encouraging exploration, self-expression, curiosity, and confidence.
I am a caring, empathetic, and highly experienced educator who values the importance of quality childcare and strong partnerships with families. I would love to work with a family who shares these values and is looking for someone who will genuinely care for, support, and celebrate their child.
Please don’t hesitate to pop me a message, I’d be happy to share my full CV and chat more about your family’s needs!
