Meet Maria: A nanny and babysitter in Coburg, VIC

Hello there! A little about me. I’m a compassionate, friendly, caring, responsible and patient person with a high spirit and a passion for life. Optimistic at all times and always determined and confident to do well. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy and safe environment is very significant, and just comes naturally to me. Educate right from wrong, along with great manners is also very important, and therefore much encouraged. I have worked for many families here in Australia, and overseas. I've also raised my own four children, (one set of twins) who are now wonderful young adults - educated, intelligent and well respected individuals., but of course I’m biased! During my many years of experience, working for over a dozen families, I have also cared for children who were unfortunately hard of hearing, autistic and leukaemia. I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking ( which I so enjoy) but if time permits. Happy to assist and support with the family’s needs, I’m happy with all ages.....they are all so lovely and unique in there own way, and yet wonderfully challenging:) My previous occupations (other than nanny) - Laboratory assistant, Fitness Instructor, Hospitality, Caterer, Receptionist, Retail Manager, Administration Officer and Intergration Aide. Although I am 58 years of age, I am full of energy, fit and healthy ( enjoy a healthy lifestyle ) and so, my outlook in life is - young!
