Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Dusty, and I’m looking for a family to care for on a regular basis—whether in the mornings, during the day, or after school. I’m currently studying education part-time at Victoria University, with the goal of becoming a primary school teacher. I also work part-time at a restaurant. I have several years of babysitting experience, and last year, I volunteered for two months as a teacher’s aide in a primary school, where I worked with children of various ages, including those with special needs. I’m confident in planning and preparing meals, as well as handling household chores like laundry and general housekeeping. I prioritise living an active and healthy lifestyle, I love to swim, garden, work out, and cook. In addition, I have my own car and a full license, a Working with Children Check, First Aid certification, and I’m anaphylaxis trained. Please message me if you have any questions! Dusty

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for some extra work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind once a week, once a fortnight, or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am currently in my second year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am available to work weekends, as well as afternoons/school pickup time and onwards on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. I currently work with a lovely family that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting 3. Cooking 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with a family and look after two young boys, but my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with over 300 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share this with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. Can’t wait to hear from you :)

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am a bubbly, smiley, and friendly person who has always loved working with kids. I have been babysitting on and off since I was 18 - in South Africa, Ireland, and America and now hopefully Australia! During this collective experience, I have done babysitting for children of ages ranging from 6months - 13 years old. My most recent babysitting job was working 3-4 days a week for a family with a 4 year old girl and 7 year old boy. This job was from 8am to 3pm and was a mixture of taking care of the girl or both or both depending on their schedules. I would aim to spend most of my time with the kids either outside or playing fun, interactive, and stimulating games inside. TV and electronics was only ever used if the kids were absolutely exhausted, I was speaking with the parents, or the parents said that the children had earned a bit of TV time. I am an outdoors person so love going to parks, playgrounds, and for walks. I am also a dog/cat/pet lover and don't mind taking on the responsibility of pets while working. I am also a creative person and love coming up with arts and crafts games for the kids if that is something they are interested in doing! I am emotionally intelligent and compassionate and therefore can read children and understand their emotions, needs, and expressions. My goal is for us to have a wonderful time together, to make them laugh, and to keep everyone happy. I am also happy to cook, do a bit of cleaning if need be, and/or shopping/small errands if that would help you! I also have a full automatic drivers licence. Looking forward to hopefully hearing from you soon!

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi I’m Sarah, My daughter is now 22 and has left the nest. I have been in the corporate sector for 15 years, and a private Nanny for the past 10 years and spend my time babysitting family, friends and friends of friends children by word of mouth. I’ve now decided to follow my passion and continue to look after children. I adore children and they are my passion. Not only do I love to look after children, which then in turn helps a family in its entirety, but to watch the children grow and nurture them whilst Mum and Dad are busy is a complete privilege to me. It’s an honour. I always have a smile on my face, am always positive, fun, loving, warm natured and structured. I am extremely punctual and follow Mum and Dads requirements. I currently am a private Nanny working with a family firstly as a their night Nanny to their 4 week old baby and established a sleep routine and now have transitioned to 4 days with her (now 5 months). I’m most happy to pick up a Monday or assist with casual babysitting on weekends on weeknights or on Mondays, if the family and position are a perfecr fit would be open to full time role with a family as i am looking for long term as i love creating realtionships with my families and there children. I am most happy to assist with cooking, cleaning, meal/lunch prep, ironing etc. it is my absolute privilege to be able to be apart of your family and I do not take it lightly. I love completing homework and getting outside with the children and exploring what the outside world has to offer and switch off from technology for a while. After school activities are not a problem at all. I have been full time nannying for a family who is now unfortunately moving interstate. The importance of looking after your children is second to none. I believe routine is important, however, fun is too when tasks have been accomplished. I love encouragement, being joyful, empathetic and i am extremely very adaptable to all children’s/young adult needs. I also have experience with children with special needs including autism. To simply put it, I adore children, as our children are our future. And, currently the world we live in we must appreciate our children’s innocence, even if only for a while - without so much technology i might add! ’. I hope to be the person that children have memories of when they are older, just like i do to this very day. Just pure happy memories.

Hi there! I’m a 21-year-old recent graduate from the University of Manchester. During my studies, I spent a year abroad in Melbourne, fell in love with the city, and decided to return after graduating. I’m now looking for babysitting opportunities because I genuinely enjoy working with children. I have a solid background in childcare, having experience in babysitting, organizing fun and creative birthday parties, leading drama activities, and tutoring. I've taught English while living in Spain and Spanish while in the UK, as I’m fully bilingual—born in Spain to English parents. I would be more than happy to teach your kids Spanish alongside caring for them, playing, and helping with homework. In addition to my childcare experience, I have a passion for the arts, particularly theatre and drama, which I’ve been involved in for over 7 years. I also adore animals, so if you have pets, I’m more than happy to care for them too! I pride myself on being outgoing, reliable, and trustworthy. While I don’t currently have a WWC Check, I do hold the UK equivalent, an Enhanced DBS Check, and would be willing to obtain a WWC if the costs are covered. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I'm an enthusiastic and bubbly 27 year old who has been looking after children for 5 years. For the past 2 years I have been living in Europe and have provided temporary care for 2 families, with ages spanning 5 months to 6 years old. Most recently in Australia I was working for a family for the almost 2 years, looking after two boys and 1 girl, who were 3 months, 2 and 3, respectively, when I started, providing full care 3 days a week. Prior to this I cared for 2 girls aged 3 and 5 providing mainly after school care (pick up, homework, dinner, bath, bedtime) and some occasional all day care during holidays. I am comfortable working with children of all ages, and I'm a big believer in incorporating imagination and creativity into the everyday. This involves singing, dancing, arts and crafts, cooking and bringing all this into learning and household chores. I enjoy taking kids on outings to places like the museum, the zoo, and playgrounds - not just staying inside all day! I'm also comfortable with any domestic duties.
