Meet AYAKO: A nanny and babysitter in Moonee Ponds, VIC

Hi, I’m Ayako from Japan.

I worked as a qualified psychologist in Japan for 4 years, providing developmental support for children and support for parents.

I worked in a childcare centre where I supported both children with developmental differences and other children as part of an inclusive childcare environment. I also have experience working at an elementary school and in after-school care. I have always enjoyed working with children and supporting their development and well-being.

I’m currently working as a babysitter in Melbourne, mainly caring for children aged 1–2. I can help with playtime, meals, nappy changes, naps, and light household tasks.

My English is at a beginner level, but I’m studying English and doing my best to communicate clearly and build a good relationship with children and families.

If you’re interested, I’d also be happy to share Japanese culture with your children or teach them some Japanese.
