Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Parents! I am a professional, passionate & nurturing career nanny. I have over 17 years of experience caring for children aged 3 months to 7 years. I possess a thorough understanding of the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children. I used this knowledge to form strong connections and bonds with the children in my care. Over the years I have created & collected a huge collection of resources I use daily to educate and entertain the children i care for (eg. felt stories, puppets, craft materials, a very large variety of books, school readiness materials, games etc). I come packed each day with a large variety of educational activities to keep us engaged all day. I arrive prepared with pre-chosen resources to ensure the children's time is filled with a variety of fun, meaningful & educational activities & experiences. I align these preplanned activities/experiences with the child's unique interests, personality & stages of development. I provide a lot of project and inquiry based learning. If the child shows significant interest in a topic (such as dinosaurs, solar system, ocean animals etc) then I will foster their organic interest by providing a large variety of activities and experiences centred around that topic. For Oceans some examples are visiting the Australian Maritime Museum/attend thier preschool group called mini mariners where they learn about different topics while touring around the museum and then engage with books, craft, dress up, sensory items etc to further explore what they learnt on the museum walk. Koi fish feeding at The Chinese Gardens at 11am daily. Creating jelly fish hats with clear shower caps and streamers, bubble wrap painting and pasting sand to create a beach scene, shell painting, paper plate fish. Going to the local library and finding ocean books to borrow. Learning ocean songs I've downloaded to my phone (here is the sea, little shell, all the fish are swimming in the water, 3 jelly fish). Ocean felt board stories. Looking at YouTube clips of different sea animals. Magnetic fishing game, ideal for fine motor skill development (this game is found at most toy libraries). When the child starts to lose interest or when a new topic emerges, we begin focusing on the new theme. I regularly engage in professional development through workshops, webinars, personal reading & research to further widen my knowledge & skills. Please contact me for my resume and Childcare Portfolio. Kind Regards Danielle

Hi, I'm a warm, nurturing, experienced, reliable nanny.Well that is what my references say! I have been nannying for many years.I have looked after children both here and overseas from 1 week to 16 years.I do prefer the little ones as I don't want to go though puberty again!! I left my last long term family after 5 years, and have since found short term work. My last short term job finished after 12 months. I then moved into full time work which I left after almost 3 years. As the children moved into pre school. During my long career I have looked after 6 yes I did say 6 sets of twins and one set of triplets. I have good referances, and in case you haven't noticed I have a good sense of humor. Hi! I am a Career Nanny with over 25 years experience in childcare. Over the past two decades I have worked as Nanny/ Governess/ English Teacher/ Maternity Nanny (depending on the families requirements) all around the world. I started out in Australia as a live-in nanny and an agency babysitter, then moved over to the UK/Europe and Russia to more high-profile jobs over the next couple of decades. And later I came back to Australia and worked with families in Sydney and also did evenings with an agency as a babysitter. One of my most recent nanny placements was 2 years in Singapore with a wonderful ex pat family and their young daughter where I also did proxy parenting whilst they were travelling. I have recently relocated back to Sydney and working as a part time nanny for a lovely family. I am looking for a long-term position with 8+ hour days. In the meanwhile I happy support a family with any temp or any ad hoc positions. Thanks! Please do get in touch if you are interested to talk about any position you think I may be interested in. I am open and flexible. I will reply promptly. On a personal note: I'm very friendly, fun, professional, youthful, optimistic, flexible, reliable, easy-going (disciplined when needed!), responsible, tidy and very experienced at my job. I love all ages of children, their development and education and inspiring them to be their very best. I love animals also. I have a car and clean drivers licence. Plus, I cook & hold a Nutrition Diploma and continuing study in the area of holistic health and wellbeing (for children and adults). Over the years my secondary career has been Personal Assistant in Law, Accounting & Film Production. Thanks for reading! I look forward to hearing from you.
