Hello families, My name is Edwina but kids usually call me Eddy. I am 27 and I have worked in early childhood education for 7+ years in various capacities as well as working as a nanny for two families privately 1-2 days a week. I currently work (with flexible hours) as an early childhood consultant as my immune system was not keeping up very well with close contact with 40+ children a day. But I really miss being 1:1 with kids and forming those close bonds with families. I’m hoping for a role with either a couple of longer shifts per week (5-8 hours) or consistent after school care hours. I have my WWCC, first aid, CPR, own car, child’s car seat (if needed), and lots of experience. My approach is calm, child-centred, and connection-based.
