Hi! My name is Raissa Santos and I'm 25 years old. I'm Brazilian and I'm moving to Australia on a Working Holiday visa, looking for new opportunities, experiences, and to build a new chapter in my life.
I have a degree in Pharmacy from Brazil, where I worked in hospital care for 4 years. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to take care of babies as young as two and three months old, as well as children aged two, three, and seven, which has given me a solid foundation for dealing with different stages of child development, from the more delicate care babies need to the games and learning that older children enjoy.
I grew up in a family where taking care of the home and staying organized were always valued. My mom works as a house cleaner, and from her I learned the importance of cleanliness, organization, and doing everything with care.
I'm an outgoing, cheerful person who loves playing, teaching, dancing, and practicing sports. I really enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, many of which I learned from my grandmothers. With children, I like to encourage their development through games, hands-on activities, and play that engages their sensory and creative sides, always in a fun and affectionate way.
I believe I can bring a lot to the family's routine, not just care and dedication, but also valuable cultural exchange, sharing a bit of Brazilian culture, games, and ways of learning that can enrich the children's everyday life, while also learning and embracing Australian culture along the way.
I'm very excited about this new experience and about being part of a family's life in Australia, offering care, affection, responsibility, and a strong willingness to learn and grow together with you.
