Hello there! Thank you for viewing my profile. A little about me, i am a caring energetic warm girl, with many years of experience looking after children and babies in both a profesisonal day care setting as well as within a family home. I have looked after 1 family for 5 years and another for 3 years, and I have kept a close relationship with both families throughout the years. I do not look after their children on a full time basis anymore as they are old enough to be indepedent. In my own time I am studying Primary education, captain my local women's football team, play with my beuatiful dog, attempt to surf and read at the beach.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Ruby and I'm a 23 year old BA Law/International Studies student living in Fitzroy North. I'm looking to pick up nannying again with a wonderful family as I am eager to move away from the stress of my two current waitressing jobs. I have previous experience caring for a 2 year old boy and a 6 year old girl (separate families - references for both included), and absolutely loved the joy and challenges of helping them navigate childhood in their own unique ways. Ideally, I would value some appreciation for my university commitments (e.g. exam period; if you require daytime care, allowing me to bring some study to work on during nap times, etc.). I'm very comfortable cleaning, cooking, driving, and playing - I grew up with dogs so can provide care for any if need be (I have a mild cat allergy though). I'm happy to complete any necessary checks/requirements.

Hi mums and dads! I'm a friendly, caring, compassionate and highly competent nanny looking for part time work alongside my current nannying job (Thursdays 7:30am-6pm in Alphington with two gorgeous boys, 2 and 5). I have over a year's experience in disability support work as well as 5+ years of experience with nannying with children of ages 5 months - 12 years. My past roles have involved school pickups as well as full days, taking the children to different exciting activities, such as the Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Museum, Collingwood Children's Farm, parks, etc. I also have two younger brothers! I am originally from the country (Mansfield, Vic) before moving to boarding school (Geelong Grammar) and then to Melbourne for my degree in 2018. Happy to cook and clean and have a car if needed for pickups, drive arounds, etc. I also have a WWCC check and have parent references if requested. Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hello parents, I'm Tracey, a fit 54 year old with youthful energy and enthusiasm for life. I am the lady at the check out who makes your baby smile, and enjoys a natter with your children. 😊 I've loved babies, toddlers and young kids from when I started child minding at the age of 13 in my home town of Castlemaine. I worked in child care centres throughout my 20s before becoming a professional singer and having children of my own. I've raised two well adjusted young men who are now 27 and 19 and have no intention of giving me grandchildren any time soon , which is very unfortunate! 🥲 I also cared for my nieces, who are now teenagers, and know my way around the 'girl thing' as well. I have worked in many industries in my life, from entertainment, to teaching singing in primary and secondary schools, and for the past 7 years worked in aged care as an activities person, having particular interest in residents living with dementia., and disability support work, mainly with adults and adolescents. I have also been a regular baby sitter for three children under the age of 6 over the past 2 years. I've travelled extensively and have been fortunate enough to take some much needed time out recently to recharge my batteries and ready for an industry change. I would like be of service to a family where I feel welcome and at ease in creating a fun and calming environment. I believe children thrive in a routine, call me old fashioned, but we all love well rested and happy kids! I love to cook ( if required) and will make sure your children are well nourished. I'm from Italian descent and confident in the kitchen 😉. Household duties are fine as well. I work best in a clean environment and like to keep children especially clean (and dressed in appropriate clothing, I often see kids these days with no socks and no hat in winter and I become horrified!!) I LOVE reading to children and thoroughly at home in creating a magical fantasy land, I love Lego and puzzles, arty projects, I'm not shy in performing silly dance moves and playing games... I LOVE teaching songs and have a knack for getting the most cry baby to sleep with a lullaby. I am confident in my abilities having had parenting and life experience, but also understand that I will be taking your instructions fully on board of course. I'm honest, reliable and flexible, I am warm, personable and get along with all walks of life, oh and love animals too! Cert 1V leisure and Health, Diploma in Music , Current working with children's card, police check and first aid/anaphylactic certificates, references on request.

For the last 5 years I have been a Swimming Teacher and Swimming Coordinator whilst training part time in a professional team as a triathlete. I am still a keen triathlete enjoying riding my bike and jogging in the local parks and heading to the baths for a swim. Swimming teaching has given me great experience working with children and has taught me to get creative and plan ahead for activities. I am an extremely tidy organised person and very happy to help out with house work and love to cook. I am a pescatarian so not best with meat but happy to learn new recipes if needed. I have lots of energy and love the outdoors and heading to the local parks a stroll. I have a UK life saving training which includes children CPR and first aid. I have worked as a regularly for two families as causal evening babysitting a 2 year old and the second family the girls are now 8 and 11 but worked with them since they were 5 and 8. Can provide references if needed.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! Please note I don’t own a car so am only looking for work within reasonable cycling distance of Fitzroy North. I’m looking for all day shifts primarily (e.g. 7-10 hrs) on Tuesdays and /or Thursdays. Ideally 2 full days but am open to 1. Am available to start 2025. I love working with children and I'm very enthusiastic about doing creative things like painting, musical games or singing, reading stories, playing imaginary games, hide and go seek, board games and going to parks, PT rides, the museum/zoo etc. I’m pretty great at drawing and naming dinosaurs from the early cretaceous to mesozoic era, drawing Shrek characters and Paw Patrol! I don’t believe in putting kids in a box based on their gender and encourage them to try anything and see others with an open mind. I have 12 years teaching experience in Australia (the last 5 in Japan 2017-2022) as a kindergarten (5-6 years old) and grade 2 teacher at international schools with the IB curriculum. I am very patient and caring and make sure I give children my full attention. I am also very reliable, organised and trustworthy. I understand that it is important to keep children of all ages stimulated and am respectful of parents' routines and rules. Enforcing manners (age appropriate of course) is also really important to me. I have 7 years experience as a nanny, ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. I can work evenings (minimum 3 hrs please). I have completed first-aid courses in Japan and Australia. I have WWC and police checks that was applied for by the op shop I used to volunteer at. I can provide referees' details who will attest to my dedication, reliability and creativity. I am prepared to do light housework and tidying up after the kids (of course) but I do encourage them to help. I’m very reliable and expect the same from my employer. Late notice cancelling of my shifts i with no compensation isn’t respecting my time. In the last 3 years I’ve only taken one sick day despite being surrounded by colds, coughs and stomach bugs! I completed my primary school teaching degree in 2013. I’ve had 4 covid shots now, soon able to get my fifth. I just came back from Colombia and the Amazon (Nov ‘24) and definitely want to go again late next year just for a heads up. I look forward to hearing from you!

I'm Kelly, a 39-year-old who's got a blend of wisdom and childlike wonder, available for casual babysitting. I am a regular ad hoc babysitter for multiple families across Fitzroy, Thornbury, Preston, and Brunswick East, with kids aged 1 to 11 years old. I am also a regular babysitter for my 3yo niece, who never fails to fill my heart with happiness as she explores the world. Babysitting is a joy, filled with crafts, playgrounds, Disney movies, baking sessions, bike rides, science experiments, and story time. I enjoy cooking and often prepare nourishing meals for the kids. Although my main focus is on giving the kids my full care and attention, I might have time to whip up a meal for parents as well. Warmth, authenticity, and nurturing are my go-tos. I'm all about fostering creativity and curiosity, making every moment a blend of fun and learning. Kids have this incredible knack for reminding us of life's simple joys, and I find that truly inspiring. While I work full-time from 9 am to 5 pm, I operate from home on Fridays, so offer flexible support on that day, and most evenings and weekends are also open. I am excited about the opportunity to connect with you and your children, creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for their growth and happiness. Looking forward to speaking with you soon! 😊

Hi everyone! I am on the lookout for some casual or part-time nannying/babysitting for the next 6-12 months. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts (design) up until July 2024, I am also doing my Pilates certification at the same time. This means I don't have enough time for a new full-time job, but need to earn some money, so a few days a week would be perfect! I have worked with children in multiple settings (working at a school for a year in 2019, coaching various sporting teams, and a full-time nanny position in 2023 in Sydney). My WWCC and Police check have both expired as of this year but I am happy to get them again if necessary for the right position. I have a detailed CV with experience and references which I can email upon request. I have put availability for every day except Wednesday but please get in touch regarding your ideal times and we can discuss further as this may change for me moving forward. I look forward to hearing from you!

Do you need some extra help during the summer holidays? I’d love to help out! My name is Alina, I am 28 years and have lots of childcare experience from my time working as an AuPair in the United States where I lived in two different families for 6 months each and took care of the children - 2 children aged 5-8 in my first family and 3 children aged 2-8 in the second family. I have also worked as an AuPair in Spain for 2 months, where I took care of 3 children aged 1-5 during the school holidays and also taught them German during my time there. I also have experience from working as a children’s gymnastics teacher, being a camp counselor and doing casual babysitting here and there.
