Hello, I'm Lotta!

I'm a Australian-Finnish babysitter and textile artist based in North Carlton, where I've lived for 14 years. I'm responsible, resourceful, playful, creative, warm, and nurturing.

My experience with children ranges from birth to 11 years old, including caring for 2 under 5 for three years. I love supporting parents (new and seasoned) by providing a safe and stimulating environment for their little ones to grow and flourish.

My expertise includes:

• Sleeping and settling, overnight feeds, handling EBM/formula, introducing solids.

• Bathing, nappies, administering basic medications (coloxl, vitamin D drops, panadol etc...).

• Sensory, nature, musical, sport, and art activities.

• Supporting milestones (rolling, crawling, walking).

• Excursions (museums, parks, gardens, story-time, farmers markets, Ceres).

• Happy to capture special moments throughout the day

If you work from home or need downtime, I'm also available to care for your children at my child-safe, Montessori-inspired North Carlton terrace house. I'm comfortable with all pets and I have two half devon-rex cats called Atlas & Sol. 🐾

I have a WWCC, and completed a Paediatric First Aid training course at The Royal Children's Hospital several years ago (happy to take again if a family desired).

Happy to contribute to the running of your household by cleaning up after play activities, meals etc... and other light housework, but would love my primary role to be caring for your children. I enjoy organising, so also very happy to help if there is an area or room that needs a fresh pair of eyes or special attention.

As I don't have my full drivers licence, all excursions and pick-ups will be via walking or public transport, which I am well experienced navigating.
