Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Ruby! Since graduating from my Bachelor's degree, I have been volunteering for several child-care & youth work programs across Victoria. I am a regular Youth Group Leader at SandyLife Baptist Church, as well as a Mentor Leader at their associated Flourish & Junior Leadership program that aims to support Year 6 & 7 girls transitioning into High School. Additionally, I am a regular Holiday Camp Leader through CYC Ministries, where I build meaningful relationships with campers between Years 3-12. Through these opportunities, I’ve had the privilege to engage with diverse individuals, and it has encouraged me to think on my feet in fast-paced and unpredictable situations. I am dedicated to creating positive and supportive environments, that foster a sense of fun, empowerment and personal growth for every kid! With 3 years of customer service experience, I have completed necessary Barista, Food Handling & Allergen training, and have the intention to complete CPR & First Aid training within the next month. I thrive in dynamic environments where I can meet new people, collaborate with others and let my creativity shine! I'm a massive film, book & music fan, and feel driven to live a balanced lifestyle centred around community. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am very excited about meeting and getting to know you. About me: I have been providing childcare over the past 22 years. The last 9 of those I have been a Nanny. I have worked with many different family equations: twins with a younger siblings, all girls, all boys, brothers and sisters, and solo children. The ages I have looked after are from 9mths - 12 years old. My favorite age to look after are children 14 mths - 5 years old, I know I shouldn’t have a favorite age, but I do. I also find the easiest age to look after is 8-11 (they might have more tude but they are able to attend to their selfcare without much prompting). However all children are different and I stay adaptable, because as they age - how I interacted with them must change. Some children are runners, some are quite contemplators, others always need to be crafting and creating big cardboard constructions, while another is quite happy to sit and do colouring in and drawing non-stop. They all ask questions after question non stop, lols (as a result you get to learn from having to google answers to the questions you don’t have an answer for. For e.g. I now know the oldest living animal is the Greenland shark and it is guessed to have a lifespan of 250-500 yrs, the current oldest one is guessed to be 300 years old) I like to play word games and encourage conversation at dinner time. While walking or driving to school or activities, I like to play math games or encourage conversation, I let the children lead as to what they want to do, to encourage confidence in ones own voice. Duties I undertake: MORNING ROUTINS; breakfast, lunch boxes, school bag packing, day-care/kinder/school drop offs -For the little ones when at home and not at daycare/kindy. I like to have our week planned. Be it excursions to the zoo, park an indoor play center, library time or classes that helps their development (that the parents have enrolled them into) like Gymbaroo, Ready steady go, All Sports etc. to activities we can do at the house like baking or painting or even a playdate with their best friend. HOUSE MANAGEMENT; grocery and maintenance of pantry & basic medicine (ie expiries and organisation), light laundry duties, light house keeping, school holiday and pupil free day planning, meal planning, food prep (dietary requirements taken into consideration, naturally) multi-tasking and more. AFTERNOON ROUTINE; networking with other parents at the children’s school that the children are friends with or do extra curriculum with, extracurricular coordination, planning of play dates, supervise-assistance with homework and practice for their extra curriculum. With additional extras from me if wanted/needed or time permits (eg. Music theroy, maths etc.) EVENING ROUTINE; Shower/bath time, dinner, oral hygiene, an evening game (if time permits) and attend their unique bedtime routine. History summary: •I started child caring in 2002 when I was 14: for my, then, piano teacher’s son. I cared for him 3 days a week, (after school) from the age of 2-8, while his mother worked from home: I had to master the skill of noise level control, while I was young myself. •Once I was 16 I began to babysit for other families during the evenings, nights and on weekends. •When I started my tertiary studies I babysat casually between my part-time job and my studies 2006-2009 •Between 2010-2015 I would babysit and assist as a mother's helper when asked, whilst working 4 part-time jobs. •In 2016 I went to Paris as an Au Pair. And fell in love with France. •In 2017 back in Oz; I undertook causal & part-time child-care positions. For families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. •Eventual I found an amazing family of 5 (3 girls aged: 7, 10 & 12) to work for, as a full-time Nanny, I was with them from July 2017-July 2020. When it no longer made sense for me to be there whilst they worked from home, and the 3 girls couldn’t do their extra curricula’s because of lockdowns, or go to school. NOTE: Ages I give are of how old the children were, when I finished. •The next Family, was a family of 4; a boy- 9 years old & a girl - 7 years old, providing before and after school care 5 days a week from Feb 2021-Aug 2021. •From Sept 2021-Dec 2024; I have been working F/T with a great Family of 4: 2 boys; 5 & 9 years old. Essentials: - Valid Victorian Drivers Licence - WWCC: exp. 26/10/2028 - Police Check: exp. 20.09.25 - Level 2: First Aid (inclusive: Asthma, CPR exp. June 2025, & Epi-pen) exp. June 2027 - CV: with copies of my credentials - References If you have read this far, I look forward to receiving a message from you. ☺️

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! I currently look after a few families however my calendar has opened for a new family in 2025. I commit to long hour and long term commitment for the year with all of my families. It's important. Currently I cover ages 8 months, 12 months, 2.5 years, 4.5 years and 9 & 11 years olds. I understand the variety of changing developments in children and adapt to these needs. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my entire life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old and up until now as a professional nanny for parents who are doctors, solicitors, engineers, school teachers, marketing specialist and even a CEO. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with human development, of which I have covered extensively. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress and anxiety is about the energy from the nanny/babysitter. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age carer can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I follow routines and set boundaries, (initiated from the parents) for all children because it creates security and trust with them. I participate in both home and outdoor activities and excursions. I can drive my own car (petrol charges incur) or use any parents' cars. I cover household cleaning (light house work: all things kids mess, upkeep where possible in the laundry area, keep kitchen clean) to take the burden away from parents so they can come home to a cleaner environment than perhaps they left it. This is always discussed in detail for any family because I am not a 'house cleaner' I am a Nanny. I am extremely reliable and punctual to enable all parents to relax knowing I will always be there for them. I look forward to hearing from you. Nanny Clare

I love being outdoors and an average day with me usually includes a walk to the local park, nature reserve, cafe, or at the very least a run around the backyard. I also enjoy outings to the Collingwood Children's Farm, Scienceworks, the Museum, the local Library and many more adventures when time permits. I've worked as an au pair in France, a volunteer teacher in Nepal, and a nanny and babysitter in Melbourne.
