Meet Ruby: A nanny and babysitter in Mckinnon, VIC

Hi, I'm Ruby!

Since graduating from my Bachelor's degree, I have been volunteering for several child-care & youth work programs across Victoria. I am a regular Youth Group Leader at SandyLife Baptist Church, as well as a Mentor Leader at their associated Flourish & Junior Leadership program that aims to support Year 6 & 7 girls transitioning into High School. Additionally, I am a regular Holiday Camp Leader through CYC Ministries, where I build meaningful relationships with campers between Years 3-12.

Through these opportunities, I’ve had the privilege to engage with diverse individuals, and it has encouraged me to think on my feet in fast-paced and unpredictable situations. I am dedicated to creating positive and supportive environments, that foster a sense of fun, empowerment and personal growth for every kid!

With 3 years of customer service experience, I have completed necessary Barista, Food Handling & Allergen training, and have the intention to complete CPR & First Aid training within the next month.

I thrive in dynamic environments where I can meet new people, collaborate with others and let my creativity shine! I'm a massive film, book & music fan, and feel driven to live a balanced lifestyle centred around community.
