Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m 23 years old and currently studying my Diploma of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University. Alongside my studies, I work casually at a medical clinic in Malvern, where I assist with admin duties. As the eldest of three sisters, I have developed a strong sense of responsibility and maturity from a young age. Growing up, I was always involved in caring for my siblings and helping manage our household, which has given me a natural ability to connect with and care for children. I am patient, dependable, and highly organized—qualities I believe are essential for ensuring a safe and fun environment for kids. I understand the importance of creating a nurturing space for children, and I’m confident that my experience combined with my professional work ethic, makes me a great fit for babysitting. I am available as soon as possible. Please note I may be away for a week in December. I look forward to hearing from you.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I'm Savannah, a first-year psychology student at Deakin University. I like to think of myself as a friendly, bubbly and caring person, who likes to throw themselves into everything. I do and always have held myself to a very high standard of work in my studies, in my part-time jobs and all other areas of my life. I love being around children and caring for them. As an older sister and the oldest cousin in a family with a gang of littlies, I'd like to think I've been given a fair amount of training in what it takes to provide loving and protective care alongside creating a space of laughter and play. If you entrusted me with your kids I'd promise to do everything in my power to create that kind of space for them too. I've looked after a 3 and 5 year old after school for a little under a year when I was in high school and a 1 and 4 year old this year, so know the balance and skills required to ensure everything runs happily and smoothly. One thing you should also know about me is that I'm always down for a chat about anything and everything. I love nature, movies, books, music (I attempt to play guitar), camping, sport (I've played soccer and watch f1), which are all areas of conversation and don't get me wrong, I can do dinosaurs, harry potter and barbie discussions happily too! I'm more than happy to help around the house, cleaning, cooking, gardening etc, alongside caring for and playing with the kids. I think its worth mentioning I did well in my VCE studies, so if a family requires someone to give a little academic help I can provide that aswell in my stronger areas. Ultimately a nanny is someone that can provide the hard and loving work a family need and hope you'll consider me as that someone for your family :)

Looking for: Part-time

Hi parents! My name is Ellie, I’m 28 years old and I have been a nanny/respite carer for 10 years. I currently still work for a family I have been with for 7 years on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school hours - these days are totally flexible around another families requirements. Although I’m not exactly ‘needed’ for babysitting, I am there to help with homework and also as a mothers help for her own sanity with washing, organising and basically just anything that needs to be done. I started when Xavier (the youngest) just after he was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism when he was 5. He has just turned 12 and I still can’t leave them! To me they are family as I’ve watched the 3 kids grow into incredible young boys/men (now aged 17, 15 and 12). I have experience working with ALL AGES (I have references for newborns up to teenagers). One of my references involved 4 girls - newborn, 2, 4 and 6 years old. I started off with occasional babysitting whilst at school, then over the last 10 years I have done a mixture of before and after school care and also worked full time Monday-Friday, including working as an aid in kindergarten. I have done a lot of work with children with disabilities over the years mainly focusing in ADHD and autism. I enjoy playing with kids and doing all sorts of different activities, whether it's going on an adventure or doing some arts and crafts or cooking inside. I am fun and bubbly, with the energy of a 4 year old, so I'll be sure to tire your kids out! I'm organised and dependable, and believe communication is very important for every aspect of development in children. I have a warm and loving nature, along with confidence, so your children will feel safe in my care! I am a fast learner and always have been, so taking on any new tasks is no problem for me. Although I am a very happy and fun person, I know when discipline is needed. Looking after children with autism and also growing up in a house with an autistic brother, I am well aware of schedules and structure. One request I have as a nanny, is to be treated as apart of the family rather than as an employee. I have always had a very good relationship with all of the families I have ever worked for. Even if your family is away on a holiday, I still love being involved, knowing how everyone is, as well as seeing lots of photos! I have my driver’s license and my own car. I did have a police check, working with children’s check + first aid training years ago before I started my business however they are all now out of date. If you require any of these, I am more than happy to get current checks / refresh my first aid certificate for peace of mind. I am more than happy to do house work, organising and cooking. If offered a position, I would be 100 percent committed, with time and also with the development of your children. Look forward to hearing from you!
