Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello, I'm Lotta! I'm a Australian-Finnish nanny and textile artist based in North Carlton, where I've lived for 14 years. I'm responsible, playful, creative, and nurturing with a confident and gentle disposition. My experience with children ranges from birth to 11 years old, including caring for 2 under 4 for four years in total now. I value needing to be fully present and feel fortunate to share in their excitement as they explore and discover little and big things about themselves and the world around them from day-to-day. I love supporting parents (new and seasoned) by providing a safe and stimulating environment for their children to grow and flourish. I prioritise learning each individual families needs and offering tailored support, especially when it comes to sleep approach and learning styles. I value mutual respect and being lopped into developmental changes along the way. My expertise includes: • Sleeping and settling, overnight feeds, handling EBM/formula, introducing solids. • Bathing, nappies, eczema treatments, administering basic medications (coloxyl, vitamin D drops, panadol, etc...). • Sensory, nature, musical, sport, and art activities. • Supporting milestones (rolling, crawling, walking, introduction of solids, language development). • Excursions: Parks, gardens, story-time, farmers markets, NGV, Melbourne Museum, Ceres, State Library Kid's Room, 'Bop Along' Music Classes. • Happy to do childcare/kindergarten pick-ups. I'm also available to care for your children at my own child-safe, Montessori-inspired North Carlton terrace house and cottage garden (a popular spot for plant watering). I'm comfortable with all pets (no allergies) and I have two half Devon Rex cats called Atlas & Sol 🐾 I have a WWCC, Police Check, and have completed an in-person Pediatric First Aid & CPR course via Emergecare *completed 7th Dec 2025. My Pertussis/whooping cough vaccine is up to date ✔️⛑️ Happy to contribute to the running of your household by cleaning up after play activities, meals etc... and other light housework (laundry, dishes etc). I enjoy organising, and am very happy to help if there is an area or room that needs a fresh pair of eyes or special attention. As I don't have my full drivers licence, all excursions and pick-ups will be via walking or public transport, which I am well experienced navigating while with little ones, as my references can tell you. 📅 Feel free to reach out to me with any enquiries, including time/day requests not currently listed. Public holiday rates upon request. Weekend rates are $50 per hour day and evening. Looking forward to meeting you and your families. 🌞🏳️‍🌈

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

My name is Abbey, I grew up in country NSW and currently work as a Registered Nurse. I am the oldest of three girls, and love have always had an interest in working with children. I have worked with premature and newborn babies in my role as a RUSON (Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing). I have learnt different skills from this position and handled many tasks including bottles/feeding regimes, nappy changes and nap routines. My main family in which I have looked after were three girls aged from three, six and twelve. I looked after them occasionally in the morning where I would get them ready for school by helping them get dressed, make them breakfast, brush teeth and do the two younger girls hair, and the parents would take them to school. I mostly looked after them in the afternoon and Saturday mornings. In the afternoon, I would help them with their reading and other homework, make them dinner, participate in bath time and then get them ready for bed. I would also take them to the park if there was time. On Saturday mornings, I would mainly help the girls get ready for their weekend commitments. I would wake them up, make their breakfast, get them ready for ballet, netball etc. and ensure they had everything packed that was needed. I love to take children out and about, and create fun activities for them to do! From going to the park or zoo, to having a babychino at a cafe, baking something at home or painting and craft. I am excited to meet your family and the opportunity to become a part of your child/ren lives.
