Hi there, Yolanda here! My love for children has been a driving force throughout my professional journey. I have had the pleasure of working with children of various ages, gaining valuable experience that has shaped my approach to childcare. In Spain, I served as a dedicated theater teacher for 12-year-olds. As a nanny for children aged 2 and 5, I honed my caregiving skills, ensuring their safety and well-being while creating a loving and engaging atmosphere. Additionally, I have successfully conducted language reinforcement classes for children aged 7 to 10. My international experience includes serving as an Au Pair in Maryland, USA, where I had the privilege of caring for Nicholas, a delightful 6-year-old who captured my heart. Living and working with him allowed me to understand the importance of adapting to a child's needs and preferences. Above all, I prioritize the safety and happiness of the children under my care. Respecting their boundaries, protecting them, and strictly adhering to the instructions provided by parents or legal guardians are fundamental principles in my approach to childcare. I believe in creating a supportive and secure environment where children can thrive, explore, and develop their unique personalities.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi my name is Jacqueline. I am a 44 year old non-smoking female and I have lived in Sydney the last 16 years. I moved here to help a family relocate from NZ who I worked with for over 6 years. I have worked as a nanny for the last 23 years and have worked for one family who included 5 children under 10 so big families are no problem! I have been working regularly for many families in the Mosman/Neutral Bay area for the last 16 years. I have experience in looking after children from newborn babies right through to teenagers and also have experience working with twins, diabetic & special needs children. I also have many years experience as a night nanny. I'm willing to help out with light household duties (cooking, child related cleaning, laundry, shopping, running errands etc) I am very flexible with my hours and after 23 years I know how important this is as unexpected things often happen from working late to last minute dinners to being stuck in crazy Sydney traffic! I am happy to stay late when needed as well as some weekend work, I realise its often hard to have set hours in this job and wouldn't expect to walk out the door at the same time every day. I also have my own car and car seats if needed. I have been working full time with an amazing local family for the last 5 years but have gone down from 5 days a week to 2 days this year so I will have 2-3 days per week available. I can provide references from my current family as well as many other families in the Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay and northern beaches areas for nannying, babysitting and overnight/long weekend stays. I have my police and WWCC checks and am currently updating my first aid certificate as it has expired. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to chat.

I had the privilege of helping care for my niece from birth until she was two years old, which gave me hands-on experience with infants and toddlers, from daily routines to engaging her in play and learning. Later, while working at the logopedics center "Papūga" in Lithuania, I interacted with children aged 2 to 13 every day, many of whom had unique needs, such as developmental or behavioral challenges. This experience taught me how to connect with children of different personalities and abilities, foster their confidence, and create engaging activities that support their development. Whether it was assisting therapists, organizing games, or simply making a child feel understood, I learned the importance of patience, creativity, and kindness in childcare. I genuinely love working with children, building trusting relationships, and making their days brighter. My diverse experience with different age groups and needs has given me the skills to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for every child I look after.

I have been involved with children my entire life; i believe their care and well being are THE most important things we can give them. Whatever their age, either newborn needing assistance with feeding/settling/sleeping routines or toddlers needing understanding and energetic stimulation, or tweens needing help with all the challenges they face at school incl the obvious spelling and times tables; i can provide it all. I've been in the Manly area for over 12 years now and i'm looking for full time or part time work doing what i enjoy best... i love children; i think they are the greatest gift in life and i love spending time with them, guiding them and watching them develop and grow into gorgeous little people.... i am extremely proud to have a number of local families (and their children) on my current (and past) client list, they are all available to talk to you and provide written and/or verbal references to support my profile... Looking forward to hearing from you. "Kindness to children, love for children, goodness to children - these are the only investments that never fail" Henry David Thoreau
