Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there, my name is Emika and I am a 36 year old female born and bred on the Northern Beaches. I have been a flight attendant with Virgin Australia for the past 14 years. Prior to this, I was a tennis coach for about 3 years casually and then 3 years full time after having competed through my teenage years. I was very likeable by the kids I coached and through that gained numerous babysitting jobs for those kids. I also used to work during the school holidays running tennis camps where the kids were in my care Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. Working at Virgin, I am constantly helping parents take care of children and infants who travel with them. I have also gained a few babysitting jobs through work colleagues at Virgin. I was stood down in my position at Virgin from March 2020 to January 2021 due to Covid. During this time, I gained numerous babysitting/nannying and housework help jobs. I am stood back up now but currently on ground duties which is more predictable and stable. I am happy to help casually wherever/whenever I can. I always take pride in what I do and ensure I am able to do things to the best of my ability. It feels so rewarding to help people and do a good job doing it. I love seeing children happy and being able to make them smile/laugh. How I treat children is how I would treat my own that I hope to have some time in the near future. With my experience, I have high expectations of myself and you can expect me to always come to work committed to make positive impacts. I love the outdoors and like to eat healthily so have no trouble passing that on to your children should you require that. I have 2 mini dachshunds so would be fine with animals around. Also happy to help out with around the house chores, dog walking, shopping etc. if neeed be to ease your workload looking after children. I have a full Australian drivers license and WWCC. Every year at Virgin we undertake a first aid and CPR course and every 2 years, we must renew our national security I.D. which means they run a police check on us. If there are any charges or infringements, we would not be able to renew. This has never happened to me in over 14 years. Am also triple vaccinated Looking forward to hearing from you. Ps: please ignore the 1 star. I don’t know how it got there, I’m yet to get a job through here and I contacted the management and they said they can’t remove it as they took over from a previous management. Promise I’m a 5 star!

I currently live in Christchurch, New Zealand, and am hoping to relocate to Sydney in the coming weeks. I am a teacher aide for neurodiverse children ages 5-8 at primary school. My job requires me to care for the children in the classroom and their day-to-day needs. I am a kind, patient, and compassionate person and have built very close relationships with the parents of the children in order to give their children everything they require. I am positive, creative, and full of energy. I am looking for a job in Sydney where I am able to continue to care for children and fit in seamlessly into the family. Although I do not have a Working with Children check yet, I fully intend to get one as soon as I arrive in Sydney, as well as purchasing a vehicle.

I am a warm and affectionate woman from Colombia, currently residing in Sydney (neutra bay). My Latin culture has given me a deep sense of warmth and compassion which I find translates into my approach to childcare. I possess strong English language skills and a full working right visa. Kitchen experience preparing meals, lunch boxes, snaks, your kids never will be hungry with me. This hands-on experience has allowed me to build on my patience, creativity, and my ability to engage with children effectively. People have described me as patient, fun-loving, and highly active but I am also deeply affectionate thanks to my Latin roots. My ability to stay calm in stressful situations is something I pride myself on. I’m a very active person who loves, swim, snorkel, hikes, tennis, yoga, and I love animals in general, so if you have a pet I’ll be so happy to take care of them as well cause I miss my doggies so much. I am available for an immediate start. I look forward to meeting you and discussing the opportunity to work with your family.

I just love kids!! I am a mature, loving, gentle, fun and responsible carer. I have been caring for children for over 25 years and am experienced with all ages. I have taught in Pre-school, Long Day Care, created an after-school care program, and been Nannying foe several years, and have been babysitting since I was 15. In recent years my focus has been on After School Care, supervising homework, and some tutoring. I am passionate about education and am very consistent and firm, but also caring and kind. I think routine is very important, and I believe in encouraging independence in children, which builds confidence. As I have studied nutrition over the years for my own interest, I believe I have a good knowledge of childrens' nutritional requirements, and feel it is very important. I have worked with several children who have food intolerances and allergies. I love music and dance, arts and crafts. I enjoy extra-curricular activities, sports and always encourage children if there is an interest. I believe a carer is an integral part of a family and enjoy getting to know the whole family. I am available for afternoon Care from 1pm, and evening babysitting. My preference is for a 4 or 5 hr minimum as I can arrive early to do laundry, meal prep etc. for ASC. I love dogs and would be happy to walk your dog before picking up the kids... Or care for your animals while you are away. I have a reliable vehicle and an impeccable driving record. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Dear Sir/Madam I have over 20 years of experience working closely with children, young adults, adults, and elderly individuals in private settings, delivering personalized care and support. Additionally, I have extensive experience in providing direct care for children and people with special and complex needs. I am a reliable, hands-on, people-oriented professional who is passionate about promoting the development and well-being of others. My childcare journey began at the age of 18 in Mexico and continued when I moved to Sydney, Australia, in 2008. Over the years, I have cared for children aged between 2 weeks and 16 years, creating fun, engaging, and challenging environments for their growth. From 2008 to 2012, I worked as an Au Pair for a large family in the Eastern Suburbs, caring for three girls, one boy, and their beloved dog. When the children grew older, I joined another wonderful family in Mosman from 2012 to 2016, looking after a girl and a boy, as well as their gorgeous groodle dog. During this time, I also provided care during the day, evenings, weekends, and school holidays for various families in the Eastern Suburbs, Mosman, and Lower North Shore. Working closely with parents, I supported their children in developing strategies to improve well-being, enhance quality of life, and address challenging behaviours. Alongside my childcare experience, I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator. Currently, I work as a casual babysitter with families across Mosman and the Lower North Shore. I also serve as a Disability, Aged Care, Support, and Social Worker, a role I have been dedicated to since 2000, assisting children, young adults, and adults with special and complex needs. I guide children and young people in developing life skills, preparing them to become self-sufficient and independent, while fostering confidence to manage their routines independently. In addition, I can assist with household duties such as cooking, decluttering, and general management, as well as pet care—including walking, playing, and bathing. My goal is to collaborate with families to meet the needs of both parents and children in a professional childcare environment while fulfilling the targets set by the family through teamwork and mutual commitment. I aim to ensure your family enjoys healthy meals and engaging, educational activities to stimulate growth. I can also manage your household efficiently, including shopping, pet care, and other organisational tasks. My availability includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and full days during school holidays. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability Specialisation), a Certificate IV in Ageing Support, and degrees in IT and Business (Marketing & Management Specialisation). I am currently pursuing additional Diplomas in Aged Care and Mental Health. Additionally, I am a professional house and pet sitter with extensive experience caring for plants, dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits..... Working references are available upon request, and I look forward to hearing from you. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Citlali

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I live in Mosman, I have my own car with a clean driving record. After graduating from University, I worked in advertising as a media investment manager for 25 years. During that time, I also cared for children of all ages, part-time, some right through from babyhood till early teens. I found this deeply rewarding and decided to do it full time. In December 2024, I finished up with the family I worked with for 5 years as the 2 children reached an age where they need to be more independent & could be managed remotely. Prior this, to the end of 2019, I closely worked with 3 families as a Nanny/Babysitter including After School Care. This sadly ended when 2 of the family's children started high school, whilst the 3rd family 'escaped to the country'. I am reliable, organized, caring and patient. I pride myself in providing a nurturing environment where children feel happy and safe. I enjoy spending quality time with children engaged in creative activities such as drawing, building lego, reading or baking and helping with homework. I enjoy cooking, preparing nutritious meals and am experienced with difficult eaters. I have a deep affection for animals. If this sounds like the kind of person you are looking for, I'd be delighted to hear from you.
