Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

My name is Erika. I'm 36 years old. I am an illustrator, visual artist, and graphic designer. My background is in Mexico; I am funny, creative, happy, and active. I am also a fan of literature, cooking, and the arts. I love working with children. Back in Mexico, I was the Art director in charge of the children's Pavilion at the International Book Fair of Guadalajara. My work involved teaching art to kids and creating a suitable pavilion for them and their parents; my team and I made the Pavilion following standard safe procedures and incorporating creativity into it. I have worked as a nanny and have experience with different age groups. I have been working with children in Melbourne since 2022. I started with a family of two unique children (3 and 5 years old). I have been working with them for 3 years; I am still with them some nights. You are more than welcome to contact me and ask for references.

Looking for: Full-time

Hello, I’m Chloe. I have moved to Melbourne from the UK this month to live with my best friend, and I'm really excited to find a lovely family to work with while I'm there. I have a degree in Early Years and Psychology (completed in 2019) and have been working with children ever since. I have just resigned from being a Deputy Manager at a Kindergarten for children aged 6 months to 4 years. I’ve also worked in both private and state schools, and have experience with the Curiosity Approach, which encourages children to explore and learn in a natural, child-led way. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for little ones to grow and thrive. I’m also super organised, reliable, and calm under pressure. In addition to my full-time role, I also babysit for a few close families and have built long-lasting, trusting relationships with them. I’d love to do the same with a new family in Melbourne! I am generally flexible and the moment and looking to start something in the next few weeks/new year and am able to work different hours as and when needed. Roughly looking for about 35 hours a week or more. My going rate is currently $40/45 per hour. Please feel free to reach out as I am open to having a chat if this feels like something you would be interested in ☺️

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m a 19 year old who absolutely loves spending time with children and making sure they feel safe, happy, and supported. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences with the dream of becoming a vet — caring for both animals and people has always been such a big part of who I am. I currently am nannying for a lovely family every Tuesday, where my role involves school/kinder drop offs and pickups, and keeping them engaged with fun activities, helping with routines, and ensuring they feel safe and supported while their parents are working. I have also spent time doing work experience at a childcare centre, where I looked after children of different ages, joined in on games and creative activities, reading to them, outside play, and keeping things tidy and organised. Getting to observe the childcare educators and how they interact with the children taught me valuable skills and insights into supporting kids in a positive and caring way. It really showed me how much I enjoy spending time with children and that this is something I really would love to be doing day to day. I have my P2 driver’s licence and my own car, so school/daycare drop-offs, pick-ups, and outings are no problem. I’m also happy to help around the house with cooking, light cleaning, or anything else that makes life a little easier for your family. My university schedule is quite flexible during the week, and I’m also available on weekends. I’m reliable, caring, and always bring a positive attitude. I’d love the chance to get to know your family and be someone you can trust to look after your children!!

Hello there! My name is Merlyn, and I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator with five years of experience. I currently work casually at a childcare centre in Kew and completed my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Box Hill Institute in 2021. I have cared for children from 6 months through to 12 years of age, supporting families with everything from playtime and fun activities to bedtime routines, homework, and general care. My background in early childhood education has given me strong skills in adapting to each child’s individual needs while ensuring they feel safe, happy, and supported. Families often describe me as patient, reliable, and easygoing. I genuinely love working with children and feel privileged to be part of their learning and growth. I am available full-time, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and can be flexible to suit your family’s needs, even while working casually at a childcare centre on Mondays and Tuesdays. I particularly enjoy part-time roles with longer hours, as this allows me to build stronger connections with children and provide consistent support for families. My name is Sunday, I am a Mothercraft nurse worked at well known Early Parenting hospital for over 9 years. I have worked with children for over 25 years. I am a positive parenting advocate and encourage children to express themselves and discover who they are. I believe boundaries are also important, they keep children safe, help them understand and learn through what is appropriate and what is not - this can be achieved through positive guidance. I enjoy light house work and the challenge of keeping up with the washing and ironing. Cooking healthy light easy meals. If you are gourmet foodie - just leave the recipe out for me. Children thrive on routine, if you are feeling a little out of control and you would like your child/ren and household to have a routine or you currently have one I would love to work with your family. I am very open and honest and if I believe if something is not working within the family unit and the family as a whole is not thriving but only surviving - I will want to work with your family to make positive changes.
