Looking for: Part-time

Do you realise how hard it is to write about yourself, to be able to say what you want about yourself so that you as a parent feel comfortable to contact me as a perspective nanny? I have been working in child care since Dec '89, I've worked both in long day care (mainly in the kinder room, 3-5yr olds) and as a Nanny I worked with ages ranging from newborns to a 15yr old (she now is 37yr old - yikes !!) I'd really like to go back to working with a family with a newborn (or newly born) so in 2016 I went back to study and did a Newborn Specialist Course to keep my skills updated While working in long day care I've also had the privilege of looking after a few children with disabilities. I have my Certificate III & Diploma in Children's Services, Newborn Specialist Course, First Aid & CPR and Working with Children Check (WWCC) - and I'm sure there is something I've forgotten !! Out of work hours I enjoy reading and making things, I'm very a very crafty person, just wait till you see and eat my gingerbread creations at Christmas time. Oh yes and I'm very organised and a bit of a neat freak.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m a 19 year old who absolutely loves spending time with children and making sure they feel safe, happy, and supported. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences with the dream of becoming a vet — caring for both animals and people has always been such a big part of who I am. I am currently employed for a lovely family, where my responsibilities include school and kindergarten dropoffs and pickups, transporting the children to after school activities, and providing attentive care while their parents are at work. I prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment that supports the children’s wellbeing and development. In addition, I provide casual babysitting for a couple of other families on occasional weekend evenings. The children I care for range in age from 2 to 13 years. I have also spent time doing work experience at a childcare centre, where I looked after children of different ages, joined in on games and creative activities, reading to them, outside play, and keeping things tidy and organised. Getting to observe the childcare educators and how they interact with the children taught me valuable skills and insights into supporting kids in a positive and caring way. It really showed me how much I enjoy spending time with children and that this is something I really would love to be doing day to day. I have my P2 driver’s licence and my own car, so school/daycare drop-offs, pick-ups, and outings are no problem. I’m also happy to help around the house with cooking, light cleaning, or anything else that makes life a little easier for your family. My university schedule is quite flexible during the week, and I’m also available on weekends. I’m reliable, caring, and always bring a positive attitude. I am looking for some more part time/casual work and I’d love the chance to get to know your family and be someone you can trust to look after your children!!

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! I’m Sienna, but everyone calls me CC 😊 I completed school at Carey Baptist Grammar School and I am currently studying Podiatry (Honours). I come from a close-knit family of five and we also have a beautiful border collie, Duke, so I’m very comfortable around dogs. I’ve always loved sport and spent 13 years doing gymnastics, which led me into coaching and judging children aged roughly 3–17. This experience really sparked my love for working with kids and helped me develop strong communication, patience and leadership skills. Over the past two years, I’ve worked as a nanny/babysitter for several lovely families with children of different ages. I cared for a family with three young boys aged 1, 4 and 6, where I helped with daily care, active play, routines and nappy changes for the youngest. I also worked with another family with two children aged 5 and 8, focusing on after-school care, school pick-ups, engaging activities and maintaining routines. In addition, I supported a family with two young girls aged 2 and 6, helping with age-appropriate play, school pick-ups, daily routines and general care. These experiences have made me very comfortable adapting to different family dynamics and needs. Surf lifesaving has also been a big part of my life. I volunteer at Point Leo SLSC, where I patrol the beach and teach children how to swim safely in the ocean and move confidently on the sand. Through this, I have strong first aid and CPR knowledge and feel confident handling responsibility and caring for children’s safety. I’m friendly, hardworking and energetic, and I genuinely love supporting families and spending time with kids. I’m really excited about the opportunity to help out in a welcoming home and be a reliable, caring presence. Based in Toorak and Eltham 😊

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Finlay 😊 I’m a kind, joyful and responsible caregiver looking to make an intentional shift in my work life by supporting families and the local community in a more personal way. Over the past several years, I’ve worked within a gymnastics company where I began managing reception and supporting the wellbeing and safety of children ranging from 6 months to 17 years old. I later progressed into the executive team, leading customer care and success while managing a team of 15+ staff members. Before this, I worked as a nanny for a family with three children under 12, helping with the morning routine from 6am onwards — breakfast, getting organised for school, and bringing calm to the chaos of busy mornings! Outside of work, I’m a very proud Auntie to two little ones overseas and the chosen “Auntie Fin” to three more wonderful tiny humans aged 11 months to 3 years old. I regularly spend time with them through play, babysitting, outings, and lots of story time. A few things I love: • reading • music and dancing around the kitchen • getting outdoors for walks, weekend adventures and markets • trying new recipes • supporting my favourite sports teams • crafts (still improving!) • animals– especially my 10-year-old golden retriever and rescue cat, who absolutely run the house I’ve also completed my Diploma of Health Science, giving me a strong understanding of nutrition, wellbeing, and development across all life stages. I understand that choosing someone to care for your children is a huge decision. I aim to bring warmth, reliability, patience, and genuine care into every family I work with, and I would love the opportunity to chat about how I could support yours. *Happy to obtain First Aid certification and complete a Police Check upon request.
