I am a caring mother of 3 who has been working with children for the last 15+ years. I was an assistant in the 3 year old group at a kindergarten for 8 years. I have Nannied for several families over the last seven years, the children’s ages range from babies to school age so I have experience with bottle feeding, nappy changes, sleep routines, preparing meals, kinder and school drop offs/pick ups and plenty of fun learning activities. I am currently working with a lovely family (3 children aged 8,6 & 4) for 1 day a week and am interested in finding another family on the other days. I completed my Certificate III in Children's Services in 2011 and have since worked at an Early Intervention Centre, occasional 4 year old assistant and 3 year old assistant at a pre school. I am a very reliable, patient, organised and enthusiastic person who loves being around children of all ages, I believe I can bring alot of fun to your children in a happy and safe environment. Ever since I was younger, I've always been told that I'm great with kids, and I've always been really interested in being a nanny or babysitter. Whilst I don't have any professional experience, I often babysit for families on my street, family friends and family members - which I always really enjoy doing! I love how insightful and curious children are, and playing with them, and seeing them happy always makes me smile. I work on a casual contract meaning I can chose and pick up my own shifts in the week, therefore I can be flexible during the week. I am up to date with all my paediatric and neonatal CPR as well as the advanced resuscitation courses in both areas. I can be flexible throughout the week and the occasional weekend and/or Friday night with plenty of notice. I am also very very dog friendly as I have my own beautiful and well trained German shepherd at home so no need to worry if you have furry friends.

Do you realise how hard it is to write about yourself, to be able to say what you want about yourself so that you as a parent feel comfortable to contact me as a perspective nanny? I have been working in child care since Dec '89, I've worked both in long day care (mainly in the kinder room, 3-5yr olds) and as a Nanny I worked with ages ranging from newborns to a 15yr old (she now is 34yr old - yikes !!) I'd really like to go back to working with a family with a newborn (or newly born) so in 2016 I went back to study and did a Newborn Specialist Course to keep my skills updated While working in long day care I've also had the privilege of looking after a few children with disabilities.
