What we are looking for in a babysitter: Aria is by temperament cautious, sensitive and slow to warm up, so it is important to us that her babysitter is gentle, patient, empathetic and emotionally-attuned to her and her needs, and is willing to give her full attention and consistency to foster trust. She is also starting to experience big emotions, so we are looking for someone who is able to help her identify her emotions and comfort her through any feelings that may overwhelm her. We would like a babysitter who adopts screen-free and child-led play, and someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with toddlers and is willing to follow Aria’s cues and interests (which might mean potentially repeating the same word over and over again, or playing the same game over and over again!). We are looking for someone to delight in Aria, encourage her and help her understand her experiences.

Some things we will not be expecting you to do include: putting Aria to sleep, making food (other than getting pre-made snacks for Aria), cleaning/housework.

We’re looking for a Babysitter to help our family on casual adhoc basis, starting with a one‑off night on Friday 13 Feb from 5–9 PM (flexible, earlier is better). We have two wonderful children, very independent, super sweet 4‑year‑old boy and a fun, energetic 20‑month‑old girl.
Our regular sitters have moved away or are expecting, so we’re hoping to find someone who can also be available on an ongoing basis. Both parents work full-time and my husband travels a lot for work )about 50% of time is spent away over the next few months), so we’re looking for someone who can occasionally help on weekends (2–4 hour blocks), plus the odd morning (around 7 AM start) or afternoon (around 4 PM start). We are seeking ongoing babysitting support in Macleod, to assist us with after school/kinder care for our two children, our 5 year old daughter (just started prep) and our 3yr old son (just started kinder). Hi! We are looking for someone who can help us with school pickups and afternoon care, through all of 2026, starting ASAP as a nanny.

We have three boys who love card games, board games, sport in the backyard, and making food / baking in the kitchen. Harry (9 years old), Jonathan (7 years), and Maxwell (4 years). Max is super curious and adores 1:1 playtime.

Priorities for timeslots is the school pickups on Monday and Tuesday each week. All are picked up from the same school in Kew. Maxwell's pickup is 3pm, the older boys is 3:15pm. Your hours would be from 2:45pm to approx 5:45pm on each day.

We would also love extra help for some longer days during each of the school holidays, plus occasional evening babysitting on the weekends.

We have a 9-year-old boy (Grade 4) and 7-year-old boy/girl twins (Grade 2). You would be responsible for school pick up, taking kids to after school activities, doing readers with the kids, preparing kids' dinner and minor housework (cleaning lunch boxes, emptying dishwasher if required, dinner clean up).

School is within walking distance, or you will also have access to our car or 2 x booster seats if you would prefer to use your car. At this stage, the only after school activity is tutoring on Monday in Heidelberg for our eldest son, which would require you to drop him off at 4.30pm.
