We’re a relaxed, easy-going family looking for a kind, reliable babysitter/nanny to become part of our weekly routine. We value warmth, flexibility, and someone who’s happy to muck in and help where needed. The role will start immediately after a successful trial.
About the Children
• Two boys aged 9 months and 3 years
• Both are happy, curious, and love interactive play
About the Parents
• Mother: Psychologist, recently moved from the UK
• Father: working in a Tech startup
About You
• Experience with babies and toddlers is a bonus (but we’re also open to someone keen to learn)
• Warm, playful, and genuinely enjoys being around young children
• Calm, reliable, and proactive
• Comfortable helping out with household tasks as part of the role
• Looking for consistent, ongoing part-time work
Hours
• Mondays: 4:00–6:00pm or 5:00–7:00pm
• Thursdays: 4:00–7:00pm
• From end of April: Additional Wednesday's 4:00–7:00pm
About the Role
This is very much a team effort role. One parent (myself or my partner) will usually be around at home or working from home - we’re just looking for an extra pair of capable hands during that busy after-work window.
You’ll be happy to:
• Jump in and play with the kids (reading, games, age-appropriate activities)
• Help supervise and care for the children while we’re around
• Assist with household tasks related to the kids (tidying toys, bottles, dishes)
• Do simple/light meal prep or help with dinner for the children
• Generally help keep things running smoothly during the afternoon/evening routine
We’re not looking for perfection - just someone practical, helpful, and comfortable pitching in.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a family’s rhythm and wants steady hours, with the opportunity for extra shifts over time.
