We would like a babysitter who adopts screen-free and child-led play, and someone who genuinely enjoys playing and engaging with toddlers and is willing to follow Aria’s cues and interests (which might mean potentially repeating the same word over and over again, or playing the same game over and over again!). We are looking for someone to delight in Aria, encourage her and help her understand her experiences.

Some things we will not be expecting you to do include: putting Aria to sleep, making food (other than getting pre-made snacks for Aria), cleaning/housework.

Our lovely baby sitter is moving, so we’re seeking a reliable babysitter to assist with daycare and school pickup during the week. We live in Pascoe Vale and have two Swaussie (Swedish/Aussie) girls, aged 3 and 6. You’ll most likely take them to the park for a hour before we arrive home around 5 pm. They enjoy outdoor activities, but we only have a small yard, so visiting the park would be ideal.

We’re looking for a 20+ female who is confident, creative, playful, honest, safety-minded, reliable, and positive. A personal car is necessary for this role, as the school is about a 10-minute drive from our house. We’ll provide the car seats, but ideally, you’d be comfortable having them in most weeks (we’re happy to reinstall them every once in a while.

We want our kids to get the most out of their childhood, especially through play, and hope to find someone who can help facilitate that. We’ll pay a casual rate and you’ll need insurance.
