Hi, I am a single father that shares care of my two boys with my ex wife. My boys are 10yrs old and 14yrs old and I have them in my house in Hawthorn East every second week from Wednesday to Friday evening. I need local after school pick up and care including taking to sports practices/music lessons nearby for the 10 year old who is in grade four from Wednesday to Friday every second week.
Care includes pick up from local primary school, preparing afternoon snacks, taking to nearby sports lessons by car, returning to home. ABOUT THE FAMILY
Family of four with two girls (4.5 years old and 8 years old) are looking for a nanny to care for their two girls. The right person will have some experience caring for children, but the family is open to hiring someone who is new in their caregiving journey. ABOUT THE NANNY
The ideal candidate must be comfortable caring for the girls together and competent in keeping a clean and organised home. You must be energetic and prepared to facilitate age-appropriate activities with the two girls, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, cooking, hide and seek etc. These girls do not have iPads and screen time (i.e. watching movies) is kept to a minimum.
The parents are both working parents but occasionally work from home and are very present in the children's lives.
DUTIES
• First and foremost, look after the girls. Imaginative play, being outdoors, reading books, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Light laundry duties (putting clothing in washer and dryer). No ironing required.
• Grocery shopping before school pick up.
• Picking up the girls from school on a Tuesday.
• Helping to keep house tidy (e.g. general errands, accepting packages, unpacking dishwasher, etc).
• Occasional availability to baby sit for date night.
• Return home to tidy state at end of each day.
