My name is Amanda and my family and I live in West Pymble. We have 2 boys - aged 12 and 14 who attend school a short train ride away. We are looking for someone to work with us on weekdays both in the morning (6.30am to 8am) and afternoons (3.30pm to 6.30pm). The boys are pretty self sufficient and used to the routine. Role would involve keeping them on track in the morning, making them breakfast and lunchboxes and driving them to train station (occasional school drop off may be required around sports training schedules). Then picking them up from local train after school, making afternoon snacks and lunches for next day and driving/picking up from local sports activities a couple of times a week. Ideally we are looking for someone to start in Term 2 (June) and commit for the rest of the school year in 2025 (through to early December). Rate negotiable. Pick up would be from school, and tbc what activities would be (will firm that up when she starts school) but it could play out like:
- picking her up to take to after school activities
- maybe she has a class onsite and you would need to pick up at 4, and ask would then be for you to perform some light household cleaning from 3-4
- potentially it may involve just taking care of her, taking her to park etc if no activity is on.
We sometimes also might ask you to pick her up plus one friend, as sometimes the parents in her class help each other out. If they were ever to happen it would always be only one kid - but just a heads up on that.

Typical afternoon would be watching our 5 year old once she finishes school from 3:30-5 until we finish work and pick up our youngest from daycare, then we take over the kids to spend some time with them and would ask you to do some cleaning, dinner prep, laundry, occasional errands, and then on days that I am alone some assistance with bath & bedtime.

• Sometimes the boy’s grandmother may be around in an afternoon to help with homework etc, so working with the family set up

• Talk to the boys in French around the house, as they are both learning French at school.
• Potential for an extra afternoon, or babysitting on weekend if you are available.
• If any time available, to just do a bit of cleaning and tidying around the home.
