Meet Diva: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Brighton East, VIC

Hi everyone!

I bring four years of experience as a babysitter/housekeeper, working with children from 11months to 15 year of age. I have a car, first aid certificate, WWCC, parent references... I am confident in my abilities to contribute to happy and healthy kids. I use a gentle approach that builds trust and playfulness in kids, which I think is an important factor when keeping kids safe and explorative. I am responsible, I seek to build a trusted and healthy environment in families I work with, and have honed these skills in over the years. I work with children of all ages, my experience over the years has helped me be confident in establishing good relationships with the family, and being a helpful addition to a family life :)

My key strengths include communicating effectively with parents, being reliable and honest, having a cheerful disposition. I've worked in other sectors such as support work, hospitality, retail and customer service, and with my previous 3 year experience studying healthcare (ie. dentistry), I have a history of being caring and responsible, in particular I hope to ensure that the kids are well cared for.

Depite being a full time student, I will have a near full-time availability opening up in 2025 due to my study being online :). I enjoy healthy meals and keeping the space tidy. I like to be a well-rounded person and believe in keeping kids busy with outdoor play, toys, arts and craft over TV ideally. I love art, creative activities, keeping active, going to the park.
