Hi!! My name is Alyssa, but everyone calls me AJ. I am a very bright, energetic and friendly person, with a passion for childcare, and I am excited to help you out! I’m currently studying Occupational Therapy at ACU and have several years of babysitting experience with multiple families. I’ve cared for children aged 1–15 and have a real passion for working with kids, with the goal of working in paediatrics in the future. Alongside babysitting, I have experience coaching both netball and gymnastics, working with children aged 3–16. Through coaching, I’ve helped children develop their skills, confidence, teamwork, and, most importantly, a love for sport. I really enjoy getting to know each child and creating an environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and able to have fun. I am comfortable with preparing meals & school lunch boxes, pets, chores, and helping with homework.
I have a current WWCC, National Police Check and First Aid and CPR certification. I also have a P1 driver’s license and my own car, and I’m a very safe and responsible driver, so I’m more than happy to help with school pick-ups and drop-offs. I’d love the opportunity to help out your family and make your busy days a little easier!
