Meet Emily: A nanny and babysitter in Ashwood, VIC

I’m Emily, im 20 years old, and I’m currently looking for some nannying/babysitting work.

I’m currently studying Primary Education and have been babysitting since I was 12, and nannying since I was 17, so I’ve had many years of experience caring for children of all different ages, from newborns and babies through to primary school-aged kids. I absolutely love working with children, which is a big part of why I’ve chosen to become a primary school teacher.

I’m a caring, patient, reliable and easy-going person and I’m very confident looking after little ones. I’m comfortable with feeds, bottles, nappies, naps and settling, as well as preparing meals, school/kinder drop-offs and pick-ups, bedtime routines and taking kids out for activities. I also genuinely enjoy actually spending time with the kids I look after, whether that’s playing, reading, doing crafts, going to the park or finding fun things for us to do together.

I’m also more than happy to help out around the house with things like tidying up after the kids, washing bottles, preparing their food and other light household tasks.

I’d ideally love to find a regular family that I can build a relationship with and work with long-term, however I’m also open to casual babysitting, date nights and occasional care.
