Meet Jasmine: A nanny and babysitter in Armadale, VIC

Hi Families,

My name is Jasmine - I’m a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing, and I’m also a Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator.

I’ve spent the past 11+ years working alongside families as a private nanny (including newborns and multiples), a paediatric nurse at The Royal Children’s Hospital, and in early childhood settings. Most of my experience has centred around those really early years of life, and it’s where I feel most at home professionally - supporting babies and children through that incredible 0-2 stage, and helping parents feel a little more rested, supported and confident along the way.

What matters most to me is trust and connection. All of my roles have been long-term, and I’ve stayed in touch with the families I’ve worked with, which is something I really value. I don’t see this as “just a job” - in fact I like to think that the right role / family fit means it doesn’t feel like a job at all. I genuinely care about the families I support and the relationships I build with them.

Becoming a mum myself has only deepened that. I understand how personal it is to welcome someone into your home and into your child’s early life, and I’ll never take that lightly.

At the moment, I’m looking for a role of 1–2 days per week with a family where I can provide consistent, ongoing/long term support.
