Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I’m a second year Early Childhood Education student with a genuine passion for working with children. I have experience across a range of ages, including several years of babysitting and two years as a full-time teacher’s assistant at Loreto Toorak. I also have experience providing more hands on care through my role as an overnight/live-in NDIS support worker, which strengthened my adaptability, initiative and ability to manage routines confidently. I’m warm, reliable and proactive. I love creating a fun, safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and engaged. I enjoy encouraging creativity and play, while also supporting routines and learning where needed. I’m very organised and always happy to help with household tasks to make things easier for busy families.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hey there, My name is Chloe and I've been nannying/babysitting for many years around the Bayside area. I nannied full-time for two separate families between June 2017 and August 2019 whilst completing my undergraduate studies, and have babysat for various families in the area since 2016. I grew up in a big extended family (on both sides), and have always been surrounded by kids, toddlers and babies. I studied Nursing/Midwifery for a year after school, and whilst this wasn't the career for me in the end, I learnt a great deal in that year. I'm still very interested in childhood development and love getting to know kids of all ages; I think they can teach you great perspective and how to enjoy the little things in life. I also became an Auntie in 2023 and have been helping my brother and SIL out with the little one, so I’m very comfortable with babies and toddlers now! My gorgeous niece has just turned 2 :) I'm involved in a school tutoring program for children living in the Collingwood and Richmond commission housing through Operation Stitches and am finding this extremely rewarding to be a part of. I tutor two Year 6 kids and it's been fantastic to watch them grow in both confidence and skills throughout the school year. A bit about me - I love to get out in nature as much as possible, enjoy gardening and tending to my ridiculous amount of indoor plants! I'm a huge animal lover, and volunteer with a rescue organisation which I absolutely love; they have a farm sanctuary in the Yarra Valley which I try to get to once a month. I also love to cook, head on walks with my 8 yo dog and I certainly get around a board game! Regarding my availability, I'm currently working at a cafe as I was made redundant from my corporate role in December, so my availability changes week to week. I'm available weeknights after 3pm and weekends for the foreseeable future. I want to be transparent that I am looking for a full-time role in my field, but I don't know how long that will take. Due to this, I'm not a suitable match for families who are looking for a long-term commitment and I also don't want to waste your time! I'm currently working at a cafe 4 days a week (Thurs-Sun) and finish by 2.30/3pm each day - so I'm available for Mon-Weds full days and Thurs-Sun for after school pick up/night times. I have a WWCC, Police Check and First Aid and am happy to provide all of this to you if you'd like. I can also provide you with references, both current and past families. Feel free to get in touch! Thanks, Chloe

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi Families, My name is Jasmine - I’m a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing, and I’m also a Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator. I’ve spent the past 11+ years working alongside families as a private nanny (including newborns and multiples), a paediatric nurse at The Royal Children’s Hospital, and in early childhood settings. Most of my experience has centred around those really early years of life, and it’s where I feel most at home professionally - supporting babies and children through that incredible 0-2 stage, and helping parents feel a little more rested, supported and confident along the way. What matters most to me is trust and connection. All of my roles have been long-term, and I’ve stayed in touch with the families I’ve worked with, which is something I really value. I don’t see this as “just a job” - in fact I like to think that the right role / family fit means it doesn’t feel like a job at all. I genuinely care about the families I support and the relationships I build with them. Becoming a mum myself has only deepened that. I understand how personal it is to welcome someone into your home and into your child’s early life, and I’ll never take that lightly. At the moment, I’m looking for a role of 1–2 days per week with a family where I can provide consistent, ongoing/long term support. Qualifications & Checks: • Bachelor of Nursing • Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Family Health Nursing • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care • Working With Children Check • Police Check • First Aid & CPR I’d really love the opportunity to connect with the right family and am in no rush looking for the perfect match. Looking forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Jasmine

Looking for: Part-time

Hello my name is Emma, I am an artist looking for nannying and babysitting work. I have always loved looking after children, I have 17 years experience. The ages I have looked after have ranged from babies to upper primary school. As a nanny I am most familiar with ages 9months up, I enjoy creating a safe, fun and engaging environment - with sensory, art/craft and outdoor activities. I also like fitting in a walk/outing around the routine of the children in my care. I see my role to work alongside the parents, making sure we are on the same page, I like to talk through or write down what happened in a communication diary as I am mindful and respectful of family time. Happy to do light house-work, occasional errands and food prep - so long as this does not take away from the care of the children. I am an artist and bring creative ideas to my role. I am looking for 2-3 days a week. Minimum 5 hours. Please still message me if you have different needs - happy to talk about this with the right fit. However, I am not interested in working a split shift. Families have said that I am loving, reliable and a responsible carer of children. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Emma :-)

Hello, my name is Robyn and I am 30 years old. I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. I have six years experience as a nanny. I have worked for various families with children aged between 6 months and 11 years, part time and full time. These have been a mix between sole care and home help roles. Through these roles I have developed a number of skills which I believe are valuable in nannying and childcare. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

As a former Drama, Art and Media Teacher I have over 35 years experience working with both Secondary & Primary Students. Concurrently I have run my own Dog training and walking by business for over 25 years. For the past 10 years I have worked as a nanny for some lovely families and have found the experience very fulfilling. Over the last 3 years I have been employed by the Moheit family, caring primarily for their now 9 yr old daughter and also helping out with their 12 yr old son. I have only left their employ as the mum suddenly had to leave her job. I worked from 3.30-6.30 Tuesday till Thursday, picking up the daughter, caring for her at home, preparing dinner, helping out with laundry etc & driving the kids to sporting activities. During 2022 I worked for a wonderful family in Camberwell caring for their daughters for their 2 daughters Each day I picked up the girls from school, assisted with cleaning, washing & putting away clothes, tidying up & other household chores, helping with homework, taking them to & from Jujitsu, doing art activities with the girls and cooking dinner. In 2021 I have cared for 2 children aged 7yrs & 4 yrs, picking them up from kinder and school. I took them swimming, liased with other parents for frequent play dates, organised social play at local park during the pandemic lockdowns, assisted with online learning and worked many full time days throughout school holidays or when children had to quarantine. During 2019-2020 I was a nanny to Luke 8 yrs and Andrew 5 yrs, taking them to aftercare activities, helping with homework, changing beds & doing laundry and cooking dinner for them each night. Concurrently I run my own Dog Walking & Training business. I have a genuine love and a special gift connecting with children. I am a very energetic, fun, warm, patient, committed, creative, sporty individual with my degree specializing in Art, Drama and Media. I really value education and love tutoring kids, thrive in a family environment and just benefit from being around children. My current position ends as one of the parents will be running her own business from home.
