I have extensive experience working with children, which includes completing a Voluntary Social Year in a child-focused environment, professional training as a medical assistant in a pediatrician’s office, and working as a nanny for a 6-month-old baby. During my FSJ, I developed strong skills in providing compassionate care, supporting children’s daily activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment. My training in the pediatric practice further enhanced my understanding of children’s health needs and effective communication with young patients. As a nanny, I was responsible for the daily care and well-being of a young infant, ensuring attentive and age-appropriate care. Through these roles, I have become a reliable, empathetic, and responsible caregiver, well-prepared to work in child-centered settings.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Lucy and I am 19 years old. I am returning to Australia after spending a year abroad in the UK working as an au pair. I worked with 3 children, aged 1, 5 and 7. All my needed checks are currently expired but I will be renewing them as soon as I return to Australia. My role in my au pair family was a live in position so I was heavily involved with many aspects of the childrens lives. I did breakfast and packed lunched for all 3 in the morning, followed by school drop off for the older children and then returning to be with the youngest child. I was responsible for organising activities for all 3 children, as well as nap time for the youngest and assisting the mother with cooking and bedtime for the 3 children. I have 2 young siblings at home, of which I was very involved with helping my parents. They are 2 and 4 now and I will be assisting at home with them too. While I was in high school I was working as a gymnastics coach for 2 years in Leederville with children aged 3-12.
