Meet Michela: A nanny and babysitter in Perth, WA

Hi!

My name is Michela, I'm form Itay and I just arrived in Perth and I'm looking for babysitting opportunities during my studies.

I worked as an Au Pair for the first four months here in Australia, in Brisbane. After that I moved to Perth while I was working as an housekeeper in a hotel.

I truly enjoy spending time with children: I love listening to them, inventing games and activities, and creating with them a calm, happy and stimulating environment. I am patient, attentive, and always ready to adapt to their needs. I have previous babysitting experience, which taught me how important it is to be a reliable, present and caring person for children.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, running, surfing or kitesurfing. These activities help me recharge and bring positivity into my life, qualities that I also bring into my relationship with children.

I also love cooking! Thanks to the cooking classes organized by my parents, I learned how to prepare traditional Italian dishes and homemade pasta, and I would be happy to share a bit of my culture with you. At the same time, I love discovering new flavors and recipes, cultural exchange, for me, also starts in the kitchen.

I consider myself a sociable and reliable person who is open to new experiences. I enjoy challenging myself, stepping out of my comfort zone, and learning from every situation.

I'm currently studying at North Metropolitan TAFE and am available to work around my class timetable. For the first four weeks of my course, my classes are:

Monday: 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
