As a mother who raised three children under three, I understand the importance of nurturing, attentive, and compassionate childcare. Having experienced the support of a nanny myself, I appreciate the positive impact a caring nanny can have on a child’s growth and development. Now that my children are grown, my eldest daughter, Sienna, aged 20, and I are passionate about supporting families by providing warm, reliable, and engaging care. Sienna also loves being creative, drawing, colouring, and exploring the outdoors with children of all ages through nature, play, and fun activities. Together, we aim to create a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and free to learn, explore, and grow. We believe that creativity, outdoor adventures, and plenty of laughter make every day special.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello everyone! I’m looking for a lovely local family (or families!) who might be looking for an extra pair of hands during school terms. I’m a mum of four and have been working with children for 25+ years, so I know firsthand how much there is to juggle as a parent — and how helpful it can be to have someone reliable there to lend a hand! I’m a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator, currently studying my Bachelor of Early Childhood & Primary Education, with experience across long daycare, sessional kindergarten, babysitting and nannying. I’ve also worked as a Nanny/Family Assistant, supporting families by caring for the children while also helping with the little things that keep family life ticking along. I hold a current Victorian WWCC and current First Aid, including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I have been a stay at home mum for the past 11 years, caring for my son, who is now 11 years old. I am married to a man I have been with for 22 years, and the three of us live together on a half acre property in Kalorama VIC. I care for children of all ages in their own setting, and I also offer care from our home in Kalorama. We have a half acre property that is a childs haven for activity and fun! We have a trampoline, flying fox, pool, basketball hoop, see-saw, and lots of room to play indoors and out. I enjoy cooking and reading with children, engaging with them in sport, craft, puzzles, and outdoor activities. I can help with homework also if required. I offer all services involved in the care of children, including personal care and transportation, and I offer additional services such as grocery shopping, gardening, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, cooking, and more. I like to involve the children in these activities as much as possible, teaching them what is involved in caring for themselves and their family. I also offer these services outside of caring for children, in preparation for them. Prior to being a full-time mum, I worked as a registered nurse for almost a decade in metropolitan Melbourne as well as in various rural settings throughout Victoria, both in the hospital and in peoples homes. I am a qualified Naturopath and use herbs, nutrition, and homeopathics to maintain the health of myself, my family, and friends. I engage regularly in meditation and volunteer at a local Buddhist/Meditation Centre. In the past, I have also provided before and after school care in my home for children from my son's school. Imaginative play, movement and emersement in the natural environment as well as engagement in activities of daily life such as cooking, gardening, building, home maintenance, gathering and chopping of wood for winter fires are common activities the children will engage in, in my care. Half-day care is ideally what I am looking to help with. Minimum of 3 hours, maximum of 6 hours during weekdays. If help is required during daytime hours on weekends, I offer care only in my home. An exception is given if I am driving children to and from sport. Please note that additional fees may apply if I am providing meals in my home and if transport to activities is required. I hope I can be of help to you and your family and look forward to connecting with you.

Looking for: Part-time

My name is Donna Finegan, and I am currently employed as an Administration Officer at Healesville Sanctuary. Due to organisational restructuring, my position will conclude on 16 October 2026, and I will be available to commence work from late October 2026. I am seeking a career change into nannying and childcare, a field that I am genuinely passionate about. For the past two years, I have been a respite foster carer for a wonderful seven-year-old boy through the Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA). This role has provided me with valuable experience supporting a child's wellbeing, development, and daily routines while also helping full-time foster carers maintain their important caregiving responsibilities. Through VACCA, I have completed extensive carer training and continue to participate in ongoing education and support programs. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, cultural awareness, and the importance of providing children with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. As a mother of two children, now aged 33 and 38, I have many years of practical parenting experience. Raising my children has given me a strong understanding of the patience, consistency, and encouragement children need to thrive and become confident, capable adults. I enjoy engaging children in meaningful activities such as: • Reading stories • Arts and crafts, drawing, painting, and colouring • Playing games • Outdoor adventures and nature-based activities • Walks and visits to parks I strongly believe that spending time in nature is essential for children's physical, emotional, and social development, particularly in today's increasingly screen-focused world. I hold a current: • Working with Children Check • National Police Check • First Aid Certificate While my professional childcare experience has primarily been through respite foster care, I would be pleased to provide references from VACCA and personal referees upon request. I can also provide details of the training courses I have completed through VACCA. I am committed to continuing my professional development and am interested in undertaking a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in the near future. At 64 years of age, I am active, energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting children and families. I would welcome the opportunity to bring my life experience, compassion, and strong work ethic to a nanny or childcare role. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your family and childcare needs.

Hi there 😊 Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I genuinely love spending time with children, and I've worked with all ages. From newborns to teenagers. I’ve had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers so I'm very comfortable and confident with feeding, bathing, changing, and bedtime routines. My style is warm hearted, kind, patient, nurturing and loving. I practice meditation and mindfulness which flows through to my work and allows me to maintain peace and calm when faced with challenges. I am encouraging and enthusiastic with children, which allows them to blossom and shine in their own unique ways. I love being outdoors and an average day with me usually includes a walk to the local park, nature reserve, cafe, or at the very least a run around the backyard. I also enjoy outings to the Collingwood Children's Farm, Scienceworks, the Museum, the local Library and many more adventures when time permits. I've worked as an au pair in France, a volunteer teacher in Nepal, and a nanny and babysitter in Melbourne for over 10 years. I also love working with neurodivergent people and am currently working part time as a disability support worker. I have my own ABN and insurance that covers all aspects of my work in both the disability and nannying/babysitting sectors. I can invoice through my business for casual or short-term roles, but I'm also open to employment terms and rates for long-term roles. I have a reliable car with room for all the seats, I'm willing to travel, and I can provide solid references. I've also had a lot of last minute bookings so I'm very comfortable just jumping in with families that I'm meeting for the first time! Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best in finding that perfect nanny or babysitter to suit your family.
