Meet Rebecca: A nanny and babysitter in Kalorama, VIC

Hello!

My name is Rebecca.

I have been a stay at home mum for the past 11 years, caring for my son who is now 11 years old. I am married to a man I have been with for 22 years and the three of us live together on a half acre property in Kalorama VIC.

I love caring for children of all ages in their own setting, however I also offer care from our home which is a childrens haven for activity and fun! We have a trampoline, flying fox, pool, basketball hoop, see-saw and lots of room to play indoors and out.

I enjoy cooking and reading with children, engaging with them in sport, craft, puzzles and outdoor activities. Homework also if required. I offer all services involved in the care of children including personal care and transportation, and I offer additional services such as grocery shopping, gardening, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, cooking, and more.

Prior to being a full time mum, I worked as a Registered Nurse for almost a decade in metropolitan Melbourne as well as in various rural settings throughout Victoria, both in the hospital and in peoples homes.

Im a qualified Naturopath and use herbs, nutrition and homeopathics to maintain the health of myself, my family and friends.

I love meditation and volunteer at a local Buddhist/Meditation center. In the past I have also provided before and after school care in my home for children from my son's school.

Imaginative play, movement and emersement in the natural environment as well as engagement in meaningful activities of daily life such as cooking gardening, building, home maintenance, gathering and chopping of wood for winter fires are common activities the children will engage in in my care.
