She keeps young and brings so much joy to the people around her. Mum was a primary school teacher in Vietnam before she migrated to Australia in 1994. She loved teaching and would have done this forever had she not had to leave. I was born at the refugee camp in Malaysia where both mum and dad lived for 5 years. Their resilience and bravery has shaped who I am today. Back to mum: mum is one of the most compassionate, warm, kind, generous and most caring women ever. She raised my brother and I; so she was a full time mum (the best mum) for years and went back into study and childcare work in the last 15 years. Mum studied at Victoria University for a bit where did she Early Childhood Education. Her absolute passion is kids and the families who have been lucky to know her have adored her. Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am only available to work on the weekends and Monday or Tuesday nights. This is because I currently work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight or so after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. A second that requires before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am. And the third requires fortnightly help on Thursday’s from 5:30pm till 8:30pm. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and got back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. My main expereince besides little gigs here and there is: Previously to my travels I looked after a gorgeous boy for a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and had a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often due to my experience with swim teaching (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who I’ve a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a bit to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022, I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days of 8-5pm. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. Prior to starting nannying 4 years ago i did casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience.
