Hi, our daughter is 18 months old and we now require an extroverted nanny for the following times every Thursday 10-5pm, Friday 2-6pm, Saturday 2 - 5pm and Sunday 10-4. Its very important to be talkative and engaging as she feels more comfortable with such personalities. One of our lovely sitters is moving on and we are hopeful someone can help us on a Thursday before and after school, and also Tuesday and Friday mornings. ! Our two children Thomas 8yrs old & Lilli 11yrs old attend two differing schools. You would be required to arrive at 7.30am on the mornings and assist our youngest with getting ready for school. With our spare car, an Audi A4 wagon, you will drop off Thomas to Grimwade in Elsternwick and - occasionally - Lilli to Korowa in Glen Iris and then drive back to Elsternwick to bring back the car. All done by 8:30 or so!
For Thurs afternoon - 2.45pm you will arrive at our home to use our car to pick up children, Thomas first and occasionally - the reverse order to morning drop-off.
Upon returning to our house, the following routine is typical:
-30min play/snack period
-Lilli to complete her homework
-bath or shower Thomas
- cook up dinner for the two children (I usually prep veggies and meal for you)
-This shift ends circa 6.30-7pm
-ideally kitchen and living area are both tidy when we arrive home. And that’s it!
Our two children are beautiful, cuddly and polite and Lilli can assist with Thomas. Your own car is not essential however your ability to drive is. Both my husband Mark and I work full time but we are always a text message away.

Proposed routine:
- Start 4.00pm
- Prior to picking her up from daycare, we would like your help to assist with household duties (I have listed these below)

- Our daughter eats dinner c. 5.30-6pm

Note: One of us normally gets home from work by about 6.30pm but there may be times where we ask for you to put her to bed and stay later (if you can we appreciate your flexibility where possible)
Light household tasks:
Given there is 1-1.5 hours each day before you get her from daycare, we would like help with the following tasks. Note these are light household duties and we have a cleaner who comes once a week on Friday's to clean the house
1. Our daughter's dinner prep (usually just veggies and piece of meat)
2. Laundry - Hanging out / folding up / putting on washing (as time permits each day)
3. Dishes - stacking / unstacking dishwasher and some handwashing of certain items
4. Wiping down the kitchen bench and table surfaces (at end of evening)
5. Vacuuming living area (just on Wednesday's)
6. Changing daughter's sheets (Friday's)
7. Emptying daughter's nappy bin (Wednesday's)
8. Keeping our daughter's drawers / cupboards and change table neat and tidy each day
9. Toys put away at end of day
10. High chair and floor cleaned - just areas where our daughter has created a mess from eating
11. Vacuuming the living area
12. We may leave a list of other ad hoc items like dry cleaning, post office pick up and will leave a credit card if required
Other:
- We want you to feel comfortable in our home and a part of our family, you are welcome to anything in the house including watching TV, using internet etc
- We have a pool and plenty of outdoor space and multiple parks in walking distance

We are a family of three, soon to be four (baby boy arriving mid-May) living in north Brighton (we are a four minute walk from Gardenvale station). Mum is a tax lawyer taking an extended career break and dad is a busy plastic surgeon. We are looking for a caring, responsible and reliable babysitter / mother’s helper to help out with our six year old high-functioning neurodiverse son on Monday and Tuesday mornings (6:45-10:45am), and the new baby when required.
The role would mainly involve supervising our son getting ready for school, making his breakfast and lunch, and helping us with tidying the kitchen (post breakfast and lunch prep) and living space, some laundry and possibly a bit of food prep / unpacking and putting away groceries (to the extent there is time). No heavy cleaning is required as we have weekly cleaners. We may need you to take the six year old to school (St Michael’s Grammar) on the train, or for you to look after the baby while mum takes him to school.
Experience with young babies required. Rate is negotiable based on experience. Would suit someone studying or looking to supplement another job.
Ideally you would be able to start at the end of April to enable our son to get used to the arrangement prior to the arrival of the new baby.
More hours may become available when dad goes back to doing public work (in addition to his private work) in July and over the winter school holidays. Some evening work may also be available over time if of interest.

We have a 3.5-year-old girl, a 19-month-old boy, and we’re expecting a baby girl in October 2025. We're after someone reliable and experienced with babies and toddlers, as the role will mostly involve caring for our baby and 19-month-old (our eldest attends kinder).
You’ll need to be available Mondays and Fridays in 2025, and then Mondays, Wednesdays (half day), and Fridays in 2026. Hours are 7am to 3pm, with Wednesdays in 2026 likely being a half day (e.g. 7am–1pm) just with our baby (our toddler will be with grandparents).
In early 2026, care will focus on our baby—including bringing her to my nearby workplace for feeds when needed.

Caring for two boys, 5 & 7: play, dinner (ready to eat), bedtime routine (no bath, just pj's and brush teeth) etc. Very easy and mostly they play independently or do homework, you will simply keep an eye on them while hubby and I work - we will be around for any q's etc.
Ideally you will work Thursday and/or Tuesday evenings, 5 - 7:30 with no housework, or if you're willing to do light housework 3:45 - 7:15.
If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.
