Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, my name is Sian and I am a very friendly, patient, adaptable and reliable person! Currently, I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University, hoping to complete my Honours and Masters in Psychology in the future. I am very passionate about young people (hoping to work professionally in youth mental health and education) and genuinely enjoy learning from and spending time with them. I have over 7 years of experience with children and young people from ages 6 months to 16, as both a babysitter and high school tutor. This has also involved work with young people who have learning difficulties, and neurodiverse individuals. I am looking for ongoing babysitting work, and with a very flexible schedule, happy to accomodate most needs and requirements! I am comfortable doing cleaning, meal preparation, bed time, and bath time. I am located in Reservoir, but study and work in the inner CBD, and more than happy to travel. I also have an employee WWCC and parent references! I am looking forward to hearing from you :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I am 31 years old, living independently in Reservoir. I am looking for casual work that is rewarding, and allows me to form greater connections with those that I am helping. I am currently studying to be a Primary School teacher, and I hope to bring the things I have learnt into this role with me! I love children - but most importantly I love helping families in need. I am also an experienced pet sitter and dog walker, so I would be happy to help out with any pets as well. If your children are quite young and require additional help with school, I am happy to assist with homework and tutoring during baby sitting times. I am capable of taking them to the shops with me, and can teach them to cook by helping me prepare food/snacks in the kitchen. These are things I wish someone could’ve helped me with when I was younger - so I wish to teach everyone else. I am fully vaccinated. My job hours are quite flexible, however I am at uni Monday, Tuesday and Friday 12-3 for the next month.

I am a compassionate and responsible caregiver with personal experience caring for my nephew from birth to age three, supporting my sister through every stage of his early development. From feeding, bottle sterilisation, and nap routines to playful engagement and comfort, I have hands-on knowledge of infant and toddler care. I understand how difficult it can be for parents to leave their baby with someone new, which is why I treat every child as my own—precious and God-sent. Families can trust my patience, reliability, and nurturing nature. I am also willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

My hobbies and interests include reading, movies, music, outdoors, dancing and painting. I have a kind, caring and nurturing personality. I’ve worked in OSHC (after-school care), so I’m really comfortable with kids aged 5–12. I’ve also babysat my younger cousins since they were babies (now 4 and 9), so I have experience with younger kids too. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and usually end up at the kids’ table at family events. At OSHC, I helped prepare afternoon tea, ran activities, and supported staff. I’m currently studying a Certificate IV in School-Based Education Support and would love to keep working with kids, hopefully as a nanny. I’m creative and love arts and crafts.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I am looking for casual and part time babysitting in the inner north during my gap year upon completing high school! I currently work part times at a Coles on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons/evenings, as well as on Sunday afternoons. Next year, Im studying a bachelor of science at RMIT and plan on continuing to provide my babysitting services throughout my studies as well😊 Some things about me include my love for animals and my passion to pursue a career in wildlife conservation. As someone who has cats, a dog, and a blue tongue lizard of my own, I am very devoted to the welfare and nurture of animals. I am very crafty and enjoy scrapbooking and painting, as well as reading, music, and bike-riding. I have been assisting in childcare and supervision since about the age of 8, as my mother has been a full time nanny for over 25 years. What started with going to her nanny homes after school to play with the kids, turned into her referring me for babysitting gigs when she was unavailable. I deeply enjoy being a friend to the kids I babysit and understanding their routines so that I can ensure that they see me as not only a helping hand, but as well as a fun role model! A common babysitting job that I am most sought after are evening babysitting for kindergarten and primary school kids, which I usually do 2-3 times a fortnight, depending on when I am needed by my known families. Additionally, I regularly babysit for my neighbours 3.5 year old, and will also look after her 7 month old when she returns to work. Once she does return, this role involves caring for her infant while her other child is at kindergarten, then picking her child up from kindergarten to care for both in the afternoons. I will be doing this on Mondays and Saturdays till the late afternoon from the beginning of June.

Hello families! My name is Lucy and I am a 28-year old nanny seeking full-time, part-time or casual employment. I love children of all ages and have been working with them many years. I enjoy their playful presence and find engaging with them a rewarding and delightful experience. I have been babysitting since the age of 16 and did more comprehensive nannying for seven years, only recently taking a break to pursue my full-time career in publishing. While I have been away, I continue to babysit the children in my life, such as my toddler nephew and baby niece. My most recent nannying job was for a family in Brunswick for four years, caring for their daughter from the age of 18 months old. I saw her talk and take her first steps, develop language and social skills, and it was an absolute joy and honour to help raise her. I consider myself quite creative, so I fit easily into children's’ fun and games, especially that of make-believe.
