I'm Emma, a 33-year-old Swedish secondary school teacher with 10+ years of experience with kids and teens. My background covers everything from daycare, after-school care, and working as a nanny/au pair, to private tutoring in French and math. The past six years, I've been balancing teaching at a secondary school while completing my teaching degree. To put it briefly: I've seen it all, yet I still manage to learn something new about kids every day!
Outside of childcare and teaching, I've spent many summers working in elderly care and personal assistance. Caring for others is truly my biggest passion as you can tell :)
I'm moving to Melbourne in mid-July to pursue my Melbourne dream! I will be starting a Master of Teaching at Victoria University and will be available to work from late July. I'd prefer to work 18-24h per week and would be open to a flexible schedule.
My uni schedule allows me to work as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 1pm - 5pm
Tuesday, Friday: Full days
My previous nanny experience:
Two girls in Stockholm (Sweden) (7 and 9 y/o), causal hours combined with tutoring
Two kids in South Yarra (7 months and 2 y/o), part time position
Two kids in Caulfield (1 and 5 y/o), casual hours
Two girls in Aspendale (5 and 7 y/o), part time position
Two boys in Stockholm (1 and 5 y/o), full time during summer break
Two boys in Angers, France (1 and 5 y/o), pull time aupair position
