Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I love spending time with children and being part of their everyday learning. As the eldest of five siblings, caring for kids has always been a natural part of my life. I’m playful and attentive, and I enjoy creating a safe and nurturing environment. I have also travelled extensively, which has helped me become adaptable, confident and open-minded, and I love sharing curiosity about the world through stories, creativity, and play. I enjoy encouraging imagination, kindness and independence, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support children as they learn and grow.

My name is Sarah, I am currently looking for part time work as a baby sitter while I continue my studies in somatic therapy and education. Besides my studies, I am also an independent filmmaker and a qualified yoga teacher. I have experience working as a baby sitter for children aged 1 - 10 and feel confident looking after children of all ages. I have a gentle and patient approach to looking after children. This comes naturally to me as I have a genuine appreciation for child development and feel it is a unique privilege to be able to spend the working day going at children’s paces. I am confident and happy to facilitate play with kids, pulling from my experience baby sitting, teaching children yoga, as well as my interests in creative areas. I also love to cook and very much appreciate clean environments, meaning I am happy to include domestic duties as a part of my role baby sitting.

Hi I’m Ash, 27 years old and am an experienced babysitter as I’ve helped rasied my two younger siblings since birth and are now 10 years old! I have just relocated to Melbourne from Sydney and very excited to connect with local families for childcare support. I’m very responsible and trustworthy as I was previously a Deputy Editor for a high-pressure marketing publication and managed a small team. I'm very creative, often found doing a variety of crafting in my spare time and would LOVE to set up creative activities for your children. I’m also very into yoga, music, dancing, fashion, reading, movies, netball, swimming and being outdoors. I have lots of experience in hospitality and nutrition, so I'm very happy and comfortable cooking for any age, even the picky eaters. Looking forward to hearing from you!!

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

I am a 25 year old teacher who is compassionate and caring. I love working with children, this is reflected in my academic and professional life studying Bach Science / Master Teaching and working at a Melbourne high school. Additionally, I have two years of baby sitting experience for one family of two children both under the age of 6. I previously worked casually in a therapy clinic helping kids with developmental delays. I play brain based games and helped to facilitate their exercise programs. This role has provided me with great communication and motivation techniques to use when working with children. I have a reliable car, WWCC and level 2 first aid.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello families, I am a caring, reliable, and patient nanny/educator with over 15 years of experience working with children and supporting families. I genuinely enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow. I love engaging children in a variety of activities, including creative play, reading, outdoor adventures, and age-appropriate learning that supports their development. I understand the importance of routine, communication, and trust when working with families, and I always aim to be dependable and supportive in my role. I take pride in being attentive, calm, and organised, while also bringing warmth and kindness into the home. I believe children are amazing little people who benefit from learning kindness, compassion, respect, and an understanding of right and wrong from a young age. My goal is to help children feel happy, confident, and secure, while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in safe and caring hands. In addition to my experience as a nanny/educator, I bring a diverse background in several roles including gym instructor, receptionist, administrator, catering, hospitality, retail manager, florist, and laboratory assistant. These experiences have helped me develop strong organisational, communication, and people skills that I bring into my work with families. I look forward to meeting and building a positive relationship with my next family. Many thanks Mia 🌸🌺🌸

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. My time with a family I worked with for 1 1/2 years is slowing down drastically in the new year as their baby boy will be attending childcare. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am available to work most days and most times as shown in the chart. However my availability does fluctuate (I will happily convey any changes with you) as I work as a chess coach in schools and work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every month or so after hours. A second that requires weekly help on Tuesdays from 3pm till 6:30pm. And the third required before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am but will soon only require casual help for event nights. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight or work on a public holiday. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Cooking/meal prep 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with three families. One where I look after two young boys aged 10 and 13, another where I look after a 7 yearold girl and 14 month old baby boy, and the third family has two boys aged 4 and 6. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share these with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. I can’t wait to hear from you :)
