I like to help make people's lives a bit easier and happy to help out in any way I can. I am very competent with housework and cooking and coming up with fun activities and ways of playing or engaging children. You can be assured that I would take great care of your children. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for some extra work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind once a week, once a fortnight, or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am currently in my second year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am available to work every day, at any time (except Fridays between 10:30am and 3pm). I currently work with 2 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight or so after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. And a second that requires before and after school help from 7:30am till 10am, and again from 3:30pm till 6pm. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting 3. Cooking 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with teo families. One where I look after two young boys aged 9 and 12, and another where I look after a 6 yearold girl and her newborn brother. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share this with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. Can’t wait to hear from you :)

I am a mother to twins, now 22, female and male with extensive experience in community involvement, business management, and youth justice, I bring a deep commitment to care, responsibility , and personal integrity. From birth, I raised my twins alone, with old fashioned values, providing them with a nurturing environment that supported both academic and personal growth. We moved from Darwin to Melbourne in 2021 to enable their university education, and I continue to provide a supportive home while they pursue their academic goals. I understand firsthand the dedication required to raise and care for young ones and the importance of creating a safe, stimulating, and compassionate environment. I also bring a unique set of practical skills, having run my own business for many years back home. I am detail oriented, meticulously clean, and take great pride in my work. I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, and staying active, and I would be delighted to share these passions with your family. I hold a current first aid Certificate and a Fire Training Certificate, ensuring I am well-prepared to handle emergencies should they arise. In addition, I have maintained an excellent driving record over the past decade, and I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with three booster shots, ensuring the utmost care for your family's health. My experience in youth justice, where I obtained a working with Children check, has further developed my empathy, resilience, and strong sense of responsibility. I am confident that I can provide compassionate and dependable care for your child. I would be honoured to discuss how I can support your family in this role and contribute to your Childs development and well-being. Please note I am looking for a more permanent long time role and with someone that pays superannuation. Please note, I also charge premium rates on public holidays.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! I'm a social worker who is friendly, warm, caring and reliable. As a social worker I am passionate about delivering a high standard of child centred care, I am attuned, present, empathetic and I love working with kids. I have experience babysitting and I also have lots of little cousins who I treasure and who have taught me many lessons. Happy to provide parent references. I have experience working as a mental health support worker. Up until recently I was employed as a family violence case manager, supporting women and children to escape and recover from family violence. As you can imagine it was a pretty stressful role so I am taking a short break from the field and seeking some casual work in the interim. I love to cook and I am an avid cleaner so if you need a hand getting jobs done around the house I am your girl. As a child I attended a Rudolf Steiner School in the country. As a result I love all things outdoors and all things creative and would be happy to embark on adventures to the park with your little ones or to have arts and crafts days. I have a fully insured car and drivers licence and as such I am happy to do school pick ups and drop offs. I have my working with childrens check, first aid certificate, NDIS worker screening check and am fully vaccinated against covid 19.
