Hello! I am a first year uni student and would love to help you and your family in my spare time! I have gained a lot of experience looking after kids (and pets!) over the last few years, across many different ages. I really love being able to spend time with the kids and being able to help the parents take a load off. I have my license and own car, and am happy to commute to you and/or take the kids wherever they need to go. I’ve got the patience and energy to keep up with them, and am more than happy to help out with some household chores, homework and all the kids’ activities!! Ideally, I'm looking to work no more than 3 days a week, and no more than 15 hours (as I have other job commitments).

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi all! My name is Angelica but you may call me Angie :) I’m 27 years old and an international student from Colombia. I’ve been in Melbourne for a little over a year and I’m currently studying to get my certification as an Early Childhood Educator. I worked as a first and second grade teacher in Colombia for 2 years and I also have experience with some casual babysitting here in Melbourne. I also have a beautiful baby sister who’s 8 years old and whom I’ve loved to look after her whole life! I absolutely love kids and no other job/career path has ever made me feel as happy and fulfilled as this does. I’m still fairly new to the babysitting world here in Melbourne when it comes to doing it through websites and agencies but I’m in the process of getting my WWC as well as first aid and anaphylaxis certificates. Anything else you may require from me please do let me know. I’m also perfectly ok with helping with any house chores as needed. I would love to find a family that is looking for someone that’s more than a helping hand but also a warm presence in yours and your kiddos’ lives! Please contact me at 0428978453 over WhatsApp or email angelicapm90@gmail.com Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! After working for a family for just over 3 years their little one is going to preschool in 2024. I now have an opening to join a new family and welcome interest from anyone looking for commitment, kindness, nurturing and success. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my whole life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with age. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress or anxiety is about the energy from the babysitter as well. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age babysitter can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I recently completed working with 3 children 5-6 days a week with their mother. Two children has special needs. In a short 8 months I was able to create new routines and boundaries that all three children, as well as both parents and four grandparents all had enormous benefits from and still implement these routines. I have a love relationship with this family. The mother is really eager to be a phone reference for me to share her experience with anyone who would like to consider employing me. I was a children's swimming coach when I was in my 30's and in the last 3 years also worked with children, as a club netball coach too. In the last 12 months I have been looking after two children under 5. I did this for free because I wanted to have a life with children aside and after two successful careers. Now that I am a child's book author, I want to be around them more. I learn from them while they are cared for by me. From breakfast through to dinner and bed time this year, I was able to develop an emotional bond with both children. We laugh a lot. I understand their behavior patterns as they grow through different stages. I've been an Aunt for nearly 20 years but they've grown up. I've been a guardian to my best friends children but they live interstate. I love getting to know each individual child and creating engagement with them and their particular interests. Sharing interests is a great start to building confidence within the child's self esteem. I want my life to also support young parents too. Being a parent can be a relentless experience when life throws up other challenges. I would be a great match with parents that have set routines and ethical structure for their children to learn within. I wouldn't be a good match for families that don't create boundaries to learn within and have structured routines to give them definition and security in their day. It's always going to be about the child and their daily development. They grow up so fast and each year has an impact on developing them into young adults. Additionally I live a very honest ethical life and hold strong to this personal philosophy. I have lived a life of integrity. I am extremely reliable and punctual as I understand leadership on many levels and the need to support people who are also learning in new areas in life and in their jobs. It has developed a deep level of understanding within me. I have my own car so collecting and driving to and from activities is a usual step for me. I just need children car seats to borrow for safety in travel etc. I am regularly available for Ad Hoc babysitting including weeknights and weekends.
