My name is Amelie, and I’m a Physiotherapy student at Sydney Uni with a genuine passion for working with children!
I’m the eldest of four siblings and have over four years of experience working at a children’s holiday camp with kids aged 4–13. I’m also a swim instructor at the Sydney Uni Pool. I have a bubbly, friendly and humorous personality and really enjoy creating a fun and safe environment for children.
Throughout my experience, I’ve worked with children of all ages and backgrounds, including international students where there have sometimes been language barriers. I also have experience working with children with disabilities and additional needs, including autism, ADHD, non-verbal children and cerebral palsy.
I have my First Aid and CPR certifications, Working With Children Check, Police Check and driver’s licence. I also have plenty of previous babysitting experience, including caring for both infants and older children.
I’m a very sporty and energetic person who loves keeping kids entertained. I’m originally from Orange and grew up on a farm, so I’m also very comfortable around animals and happy to help with household tasks when needed.
I’d also be more than happy to help with homework and schoolwork, as I currently tutor both primary and high school students.
I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide your children with a fun, caring and reliable babysitting experience!
