Meet Jemma: A nanny and babysitter in Camperdown, NSW

I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Media & Communications at the University of Sydney and living at college, which keeps me busy and deeply engaged in a vibrant community. Alongside my studies, I currently work at a boutique in Double Bay and also assist in the brand's operations centre in Rosebery. Working across both customer-facing retail and behind-the-scenes operations has helped me develop strong organisational, communication and multitasking skills. As the youngest employee across both environments, I've learned to adapt quickly, take initiative and confidently manage a wide range of responsibilities.

Beyond that, I've always had a genuine passion for working with kids. With over 4 years of experience babysitting and nannying children aged 1–13, I've built a reputation for being reliable, punctual and proactive. Growing up as the youngest of four siblings (with three older brothers!) taught me independence and responsibility early on, and I often helped manage the household from a young age.

I hold a driver's licence and police check, and I now have more flexibility in my schedule to dedicate time to families who need ongoing support. On top of childcare, I also offer tutoring in primary subjects, drawing on my academic background after achieving academic honours in many aspects of my schooling.
