I am a retired school teacher with 40 years of experience, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent my career doing something I was truly passionate about. Now that I have retired, I have the time to return to what I have always loved most — caring for and supporting children. I am available for tutoring, casual or regular childcare, nannying, and I am also happy to assist with light household cleaning. Although my own sons are now grown, I am grateful to still have many “little angels” in my life, and I would love to welcome more. With decades of experience, patience, and genuine care, I offer a safe, nurturing, and dependable presence for your family.

Bonjour! My name is Océane, I'm 29 and I'm from France 🇫🇷 I am currently a nanny for a 1yo lovely busy boy 3 days a week (I know him since his 3 month old). I am available all day on Thursdays and Fridays and for occasional afternoon, evening or weekend babysitting. I am going to start studying Early Childhood Éducation and Care in July 2026 and I am so excited about that! I was a nanny in Wellington, NZ for 1 year and work for some wonderful families! I was looking after an adorable 1 year old girl 3 days a week and a 2 and half year old boy the other 2 days of the week. Occasionally, I was looking after his little sister who was born in December 2024 and whom I have been watching develop since she was born. I was also a nanny for a 1 year old boy last year in full time. I have also done occasional and regular babysitting for children aged 6 month to 9 during weekends and evenings. I was an au pair in the United States for a year and a half. My first year was in Seattle, WA, where I looked after 3 children aged 5 months, 2 and a half years and 6 and a half years when I arrived. I then spent 6 months with another family in New York, where I looked after a little girl who was 7 months old when I arrived. It was an extraordinary experience and I learnt a lot! I did a lot of baby-sitting while I was studying. I've also babysat for several families with children of all ages, from 5 months to 12 years. I've always loved children and sharing time and activities with them. Looking forward to hear from you, A bientôt 😊

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Marketa, I am 35 years old, and I am currently living in Australia on a student visa. I am looking for a position as a babysitter or au pair, as working with children has always been something I truly enjoy. I previously worked as an au pair in Germany, where I took care of a one-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl. My responsibilities included preparing meals, organizing fun and educational activities, helping with daily routines, and ensuring a safe and loving environment for the children. This experience helped me develop strong patience, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to different family needs. Living with the family also taught me how important trust, communication, and reliability are in childcare. During my time in Germany, I became fluent in German, so I am able to communicate in both English and German without any problems. Although I do not have children of my own, I have spent a lot of time caring for my siblings’ children, which has given me extensive hands-on experience with kids of different ages. I am caring, responsible, organized, and attentive to children’s individual needs. I always aim to create a warm, positive, and supportive environment where children feel safe and happy. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted and reliable support for your family

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting,Au Pair

My name is Bríd Madden, and I’m from Ireland. I’ll be relocating to Australia end of September early October , which I’m incredibly excited about. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit over the years. I love to explore new cultures and new adventures, adapts quickly, and is always eager to embrace new experiences. I have a double honors degree in Psychology and Education from Swansea University, and I’ve always had a deep passion for working with children. Over the past few years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience in childcare and youth work. I’ve worked at summer camps across Germany and the UK, where I was responsible not only for supervising and caring for children, but also for designing and leading engaging games and activities that were both fun and educational. As well as lesson planning and night supervision. These roles taught me how to balance fun with structure and gave me a solid foundation in working with young people of various ages and backgrounds. I have also volunteered with special Olympics and taught both adults and students with Down syndrome to swim and play football. Which I found very rewarding and further taught me about patience and communication. One of my most rewarding roles was working as a Welfare Manager at the Alpadia Language Camp in London. In this position, I was responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers, managing a team of staff, coordinating daily schedules, resolving conflicts, and liaising with parents. It was a role that that thoroughly improved my communication, leadership, and organizational skills, and I found it incredibly fulfilling to create a positive, nurturing environment for both staff and students. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve done a significant amount of babysitting, particularly with children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome, autism, and non-verbal communication styles. These experiences have taught me to be patient, empathetic, and attentive, and I always aim to create a calm, supportive, and joyful environment tailored to each child's unique needs. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. I absolutely love being active—whether it’s playing lacrosse, football, Gaelic football, swimming, or hiking. I’m always seeking out new experiences and adventures, and I thrive when I’m surrounded by nature and movement. Another one of my passions is cooking. I love spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, trying out dishes from different cultures, and cooking nutritious meals for friends and family. I’d be delighted to share that joy in your home, whether it’s preparing meals for the kids or baking together as a fun afternoon activity. Overall, I’m a warm, dependable, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with children. I bring a strong work ethic, a sense of fun, and a commitment to creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions—I’d be more than happy to chat! Warm regards, Bríd Madden
