Meet Oceane: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Bronte, NSW

Hello/Bonjour families,

My name is Oceane, I am 29 years old and originally from France. I will be starting my Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care at the beginning of May.

My Availability will be :

• Monday: After 3 PM

• Tuesday: Between 9 AM and 3 PM

• Wednesday: Between 9 AM and 3 PM

• Thursday: Between 9 AM and 5 PM

• Friday: After 4 PM

• Weekend: Available

At the moment, I am working with a lovely 15-month-old boy, and I will continue to care for him until the beginning of May, before starting my Au Pair role in Bronte. I have been nannying regularly since I was 18 years old, always alongside my studies, which has given me many years of consistent, hands-on experience with children of different ages (specialy babies and toddlers).

I spent a year and a half in the United States as an Au Pair, where I cared for three children (5 months, 2.5 years, and 6.5 years old at the time of my arrival) for one year, and then for a 7-month-old baby in another family for six months. This experience was incredibly enriching and sparked my strong interest in child development.

I then moved to New Zealand for 15 months, where I worked as a nanny for three main families, caring for children between 1 and 2 years old. One of the 2-year-olds welcomed a baby sister, giving me the opportunity to care for a newborn and support her development until she was 5 months old.

I am now based in Sydney, where I continue to work as a nanny and babysitter for wonderful families.

I will begin studying Early Childhood Education and Care in May, as I am planning to build my long-term career in this field, ideally becoming a Play Therapist or working in education.

I am caring, reliable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I truly enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. I make it a priority to take children outdoors every day and organize engaging activities such as playgroups, museum visits, music classes, library trips, and other fun and educational experiences suited to their age and interests.
