Hi, I work full-time from 09:00-17:15 and am seeking a mature and responsible long-term nanny for after school care Mondays to Fridays (~3:30 - 6:30 pm, 7 and 12 year old boys), primarily to receive my 7 year old off the school bus at around 3:50 pm just outside the house and drop him off to OSHC 5 minutes away, prepare evening meals and school lunchbox for tomorrow + tidying the kitchen, and picking up the 7 yo before 6 pm.
At present there are no after school extracurricular activities, but there may be need for dropping off and picking up from activities in the future, so a car and licence is preferred.
My 7 yo is quite active/energetic, has a lot of curious questions, and likes to have a lot to do to keep busy (potential ADHD); my 12 yo walks home by himself and generally keeps to himself at home quite happily so doesn’t need much care, but just needs to be reminded to complete his daily tasks and homework where applicable (awaiting ASD assessment).
With the current arrangement, there isn't actually too much active childcare involved as the 7 yo can be engaged at OSHC and the 12 yo keeps himself engaged, and I would really just like a caring and responsible adult who can help with meals and be available for the kids if they need anything before I get home.
