Part-Time Nanny Position
We are searching for our very own Mary Poppins — someone caring, reliable, and full of energy to become a cherished part of our family.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who loves children and takes pride in maintaining a tidy home. Our daughter, is an active and curious little one who naps for approximately 2 hours each day. During her naptime, we ask for assistance with various household duties to keep our home running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, nurturing care to daughter, including engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, reading, and playtime.
- Encouraging a balance of structured activities and independent play.
- Keeping daughter’s playroom organised and tidy.
- Household tasks such as:
- Washing and ironing clothes
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Stacking and unstacking the dishwasher
- Light cleaning to maintain a tidy home
- Occasional errands, including:
- Unpacking groceries
- Accompanying daughter to doctors’ appointments or activities like Gymbaroo
- Taking the family dog to the park
- Limiting personal phone use during childcare hours (calls during daughters naps are fine).
Hours & Start Date
- Start Date: Monday, 27th January 2025
- Mondays: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Wednesdays: 8:15 am – 11:15 am
Compensation
- Payment in cash, made fortnightly.
(Rate: $ per hour or negotiable as discussed)
Additional Information
- A car seat will be available for any necessary travel.
Requirements
- Meet and Greet with family before start date
- 1 year contract with opportunity to extend
- A valid Working With Children (WWC) number
- Two references
- Drivers license
