Mother’s Helper Needed – After School (3 Days/Week)
We’re a friendly family looking for a reliable, caring Mother’s Helper to help after school.
I am flexible on days however 3 times a week would be ideal for 3-4 hours but happy to chat if as long as you can help twice a week.
We have two beautiful boys aged 6 and 10. We need someone who is warm but also disciplined in getting the routine.
This is a parent-present role and help would include:
Child-related support:
- After-school care and supervision
- Playing and engaging with the boys (arts, games, music, reading)
- Helping the boys with homework
- providing after school snacks or helping at dinner time
- Getting school bags, uniforms, and lunches ready for the next school day
Household help:
- Emptying the dishwasher
- Cleaning up the kitchen after meals
- Simple meal prep (optional but would be helpful)
- Putting away and folding clothes
- General tidying up after the boys to help the afternoon/evening run smoothly
Requirements:
- Experience with children
- Confident with school-aged boys
- Reliable, warm, and proactive
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) required
📍 Location: North Ryde
🕒 Days/Hours: 3 afternoons per week (3-7pm)
💰 Pay: $30-$35 (depending on experience)
