We're a warm, professional family looking for an experienced nanny to join us in a full-time fixed-term role from late July 2026 until late January/early February 2027.
You'll be caring for our two children, an imaginative and sociable 5 year old girl and an easygoing and cheerful 1 year old boy, during a particularly busy season for our family. We're looking for someone who is confident caring for young children, enjoys planning outings and activities, and can independently manage the day-to-day flow of a busy household. We would also highly value someone who can contribute to some simple lunch box preparation and children's laundry once or twice a week.
We value kindness, connection and a calm home environment. Our eldest has thrived in a Steiner daycare up until this year, and we love days filled with imaginative play, reading, art, baking, nature walks and time outdoors. We'd love to find a nanny who enjoys a bit of creative play and shares a similar philosophy around childhood and care.
The role offers regular guaranteed hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to become a valued part of our family over the six-month period. For the first 12 weeks we will be based in Malvern East while renovations are completed, before returning to our home in Flemington for the remainder of the role.
Days of work: Tuesday - Friday, 8am - 6pm (38-40 hours a week)
Pay rate: $37-42/hour (+ super). This role will have a formal contract and payment via payroll.
